Nose frieda works 100x better then the bulb. Humidifier in the room when she is sleeping.

Hot steamy bathroom with a few drops of eucalyptus oil in a bowl then nose Frieda. Baby Vicks on feet with socks, sleep slightly inclined, cool most humidifier in bedroom.
Poor baby!

I used saline drops up her nose with her first cold. She hated it but it really helped soften up the congestion to be sucked out.

@MrsBrewer: bahaha why not? Does it gross you out? The idea of boogers being stuck in the bulb grosses me out more!

@regberadaisy: yes! Grosses me out!! Idk why, but I think I have a fear of sucking up her boogers, then it getting in my mouth! I know it's irrational and wouldn't happen, but that's all I can think about!!

Ugh I rememwber our first cold. It was awful. I felt so bad for her. We used saline drops and humidifier. Hope your also is better soon!

Saline drops and nose Frida here too. Our ped said the saline drops work as well or better than the nose Frida, if that makes you feel better. And elevating one end of the mattress if she doesn't move in her sleep much (we got to a point when C would rotate and then roll down the crib if I elevated her).
And the nose Frida is totally gross. Worth it, because it really did work, but I definitely tasted saline one time after I'd done the saline drops in her nose.
Oh and if her nose is running, boogie wipes are softer on their little noses than regular tissues.

I have been keeping W elevated and have him sit in the bathroom after it is steamed up. I don't use the saline or nose frida because he sneezes a lot. I just use the bulb to get the excess out. He's getting better just doing that.

I squirted breast milk up her nose to break down the mucus. She thought it was hilarious. You could try some hydrasense too. I never had success with the snot suckers.
