Why is it that my husband washes his Jean's in the dryer every week, but he tosses mine in ONCE and they are too tight. Mind you they aren't skinny jeans.....they are normal person comfy jeans from old navy.
I'm so frustrated that 75% of my shirts/pants aren't dryerable!!! So lame womens clothes manufacturers!! :shakes fist:

Actually I always have to dry my jeans because the stretch out the more times I wear them. You need to put them on and do some big stretches in them!
But generally, yes. It is annoying. I just assume it’s because our clothes are more fitted. And I get so annoyed with line drying so many things.

Will it make the zipper zip/button sans muffin top? The jeans fit in the morning, I spilled something, he washed them, then they gave me muffin top and barely closed....so it's not like I actually gained weight

@meadow: Totally agree! All my clothes gets hung up to dry, but my husband can throw everything in the dryer and the fit doesn't change! So frustrating.

I think it's the Old Navy women's jean/pants that do this. I only dry my ON pants if I actually want/need them to shrink (which I often do bc they stretch out). Old Navy is cheap and comfy but their pants fade & wear out so much faster than others. I think pretty much all of their women's pants have a certain amount of stretch but the men's jeans generally do not.

My husband has ruined many articles of my clothing by drying them. I ended up buying a bunch of laundry delicates bags. I put the "hang dry" items in the bags, so he sees a clear indicator that he should NOT put those into the dryer. It doesn't help that he mindlessly puts everything on high heat either!
My husband does complain that his jeans are tight after drying, but he wears a slim cut, so I bet that's the most relevant factor.

I find that once you put them on, do some deep squats, and wear them around for a while they'll loosen up, even in the waist. My jeans always feel too tight for about an hour once they come out of the dryer.

I agree my pants from old navy are the worst in terms of how much they shrink but ai love how comfortable they are and the price tage doesnt hurt
