Currently, we're living in a tighter space on a double (full). But I'm definitely going to need more room. We've been toying with the idea of a King, but it will be tight squeeze into the bedroom and most of the other furniture will have to be removed. Our room is also an awkward shape, so there isn't many directions we can place the bed.

Plus, we will likely be moving in just under 2 years. Is the takedown and moving of a King sized bed a big hassle compared to a Queen?

Should be go right for the King now? Or should we get a Queen only for 2 years?

I don't think beds/mattresses have good resale value. And I'm also not 100% sure that a Queen is enough? It's only about 4 - 5 inches wider than the double we're on now.

Here is a picture of the rough layout of our master at the moment. (not exactly to measurement, but the scale is close enough. room isn't actually that long).
- we'll have two small side tables beside the bed
- baby's crib
- dresser (doubling as a chaning table)
- glider and ottoman

Like I said, tight.
