I would love suggestions for how to get DD to nap in her crib. She will be 7 months next week and she's never slept in her crib for a nap. She has to be sleeping on us. She does awesome at night though, usually sleeping between 10-11 hours.

What we're tried for naps....
1. Laying down drowsy but awake. She either plays and then starts crying or will cry right away.

2. Holding her until asleep and then transferring her. She wakes up right away.

3. I've tried creating the same routine that we do at bedtime (e.g. sleep sack, feeding her a bottle in her dark room, having sound machine on).

Any other ideas or suggestions? CIO is not for me, but I'd like to hear other advice. Thanks!
