Hello,
I am new to this forum! Very excited to be here! I'm sure there are hundreds of posts about this, but I don't really know how to use the sight yet and not sure how to search 😳
Okay, so my 7 month old is waking up 3-5 times a night. I am breastfeeding and she usually nurses back to sleep. It's been fine, but I am getting to the point of exhaustion. I need to get more than 3 straight hours of sleep! Around the age of 3 or 4 months she was sleeping consistently from 7:30-3, waking up once to feed, and then going back to sleep until about 8. She then had a set back and is at the point we are at now - waking up 3-5 times a night.
How do I go about night weening? I am good waking up once a night to feed, if necessary, but 3-5 times is getting to be too much. We have tried having my husband go in to soothe her, but since I am breastfeeding I have always been the one to go in and calm her (nurse her) back to sleep, so having daddy try and calm her doesn't work. She either freaks out and cries more until I go in there, or she wakes up completely and wants to play.
So any tips would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
