Can I swim in Orlando in October? We want to go to Disney in October (2015), but don't know what the weather is like. I know it's warmer there than here, but not sure if it's stupid to think that we could possibly swim. Any FL bees- what's the swimming season?

Yep! Usually still pretty warm, in the 80s, in October. I would say January and February are the coldest, if we get a cold snap. Most places have heated pools, so swimming is available year round .

Yep! It should be in the low 80's or mid to high 70's.

Definitely!! We were just in Orlando on Saturday and it was sweltering hot. It will stay pretty warm all through October - definitely warm enough to swim. I think even by the end of Oct. the average high is still like 82-83. It starts to cool off then. I was there once in mid-Oct when there was a freak cold snap for a few days and it would have been too chilly to swim. But I'd say 95% of the time you're good.

Oh yes. I live on the west coast of FL but I got married on a verandah last October and we were all sweating so I have a vivid memory lol.

We are in Orlando now and we could swim, no problem.

Ohhh yes, I live 1 hr south of Orlando and you can def swim, most hotels too the pools are heated
but unless we have a freaknwinter Oct is still summer weather

The chance it would be too chilly is minuscule. It's still so hot here! Honestly, you can usually swim through much of November and December.
