Has anyone ever tried to return or get a price adjustment to price match from Babies R Us from an Amazon price?
The Medela PISA double electric I received is $349.99 from BRU and $279.99 on Amazon! I know it was a gift, but I'm even irked my friend had to spend $70 more from BRU! Tempted to return it and try to buy it back with an Amazon Price Match. Anyone ever tried to do this? I know there was a thread on what a PITA returns at BRU are....

I got my freestyle with a internet price match! They usually don't, but I pushed and told them I had called ahead and the mgr just keyed in some codes and gave me the adjustment, let me use a 20% coupon on top of it, I had a lil giftcard left over and we only paid $180 for the freestyle that they sell for $399.99

p.s. you can return b.pumps as long as the seal isn't broken on the box and it is within 45 days.

I have done it numerous times, worked well. However, I was going to buy a monitor the other day (video/movement) and there it was $300 at target it was $193 but out of stock. Long story short the manager said they just changed their price match where it had to be in a printed weekly advertisement for them to price match. Totally bogus. Not cool BRU

@mrsjyw: Oh I HOPE I can get them to do something like this for us! Still deciding if I want to out-of-pocket-expense the b.pump ourselves through our insurance, or use the value from our gift.

@shopaholic: The manager said it was company wide and that they changed the policy info online too. It annoyed me so much I probably wont go back for a while. And bonus..it came back in stock at target I know other stores do price match, maybe you can check them if they are around you?

Good luck! A lot of stores don't price match Amazon. It's kind of apples and oranges when it comes to brick and mortar stores vs the internet.

You can just return it & get in store credit and then re-buy it using a 20% off coupon which will bring you right back down to 279.99.
I'd but it from BRU because you'll get rewards points:) & you won't have to deal with price match issues.
Do you have a 20% coupon? They give them out attached to your receipt all the time at BRU.

@TurtleDoves: Oh! That's a great idea! Thanks! I admit I'm horrible with coupons. I have to try and remember to look at them and use them! I always forget to bring the coupon or it's expired by the time I try to use one. Need to get better at that!

@shopaholic: They are doing a 20% coupon on pumps this week. Not sure if its combinable with the other 20% off an item coupon.

@sunny: Oh yay! Thank you!!! I will go return the b.pump for a GC and see if they let me use both coupons together! Either way, you and @TurtleDoves: make the price back down to Amazon's and I'd get an addt'l $70 merch credit which is great! THANKS!!!
