I'm 21 weeks today and found out yesterday that my baby has bilateral choroid plexus cysts on her brain. My dr was not concerned at all. In fact he said he's only sending me for a level 2 ultrasound so that I can get more pictures of the baby.

When I got my quad screening test done a month ago they just told me that the results were negative. I called today to ask what the exact chances were and they said 1 in 50,000 for down syndrome and 1 in 100 for trisomy 18 (Edward's syndrome). 1 in 100 seems very high to me. The nurse I spoke with told me that 1 in 100 is normal for someone of my age (28) and nothing to worry about at all. I've done some research and other ladies that are older than me got a result of 1 in 300 and were considered high risk. Does anyone have experience with this test or would anyone be willing to share their quad test results for comparison? Thanks.
