Months It Took to Conceive: Technically 3, really trying for 2 after my fertility returned post baby
DPO You Found Out You Were Preggo On: I had a super squinter at 9dpo, and a definite positive on 10dpo
Symptoms That Made You Think You Were Pregnant: I said to my husband as I nursed our daughter "Oh my God. I better be pregnant because this really effing hurts!" So yeah, my nipples are super sensitive, and I'm having mild (non-period like) cramps today.
Child Number: 2! (3rd pregnancy though, I had a miscarriage before my daughter)
Where You Live: The beautiful Bay Area in CA.
What You're Most Excited For: Growing a sibling! I wasn't close in age to my brother, so I really wanted that for our family. Hopefully this one sticks and we can have that!
What You're Most Scared About: Growing a sibling! Baby G has been particularly needy and clingy these past couple of days, so I'm a bit terrified of what two is going to look like. We don't have family nearby, so we're mostly on our own. Also, I'm an absolutely terrible pregnant lady. I'm thankful that my husband is so patient.

What You're Most Excited For: everything really, but mostly just for reality to set in - so far it's all too surreal to feel properly excited.
What You're Most Scared About: Loss (we've had two close friends both suffer multiple losses in the last couple of years), and also worried about DH adjusting to fatherhood - although he really wants kids he would have preferred to have waited a few more months, but we were both shocked it didn't take as long as we thought to get the BFP.

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be a part of a board! I hope you all have happy, healthy pregnancies.

Months It Took to Conceive: 11 months, 9 cycles
DPO You Found Out You Were Preggo On: 14. I always start spotting the day before, and there was no spotting, so I tested the next morning.
Symptoms That Made You Think You Were Pregnant: None! I really thought I was out this month. My cramps felt just like AF.

What You're Most Excited For: first is hearing the heartbeat. After that, I can't wait for the look on my husband's face when he sees our baby for the first time.
What You're Most Scared About: Another miscarriage, but I've decided that worrying isn't going to change anything, so I'm being optimistic.

Symptoms That Made You Think You Were Pregnant: I just felt awful, I had bad (TMI) diarrhea.. lower back pain- sore nipples- Funny how now my symptoms have waned a bit.

yay yay yay! more September Ladies! So question everyone... who have you told? When are you going to tell people?
So far only DH & HB know. We are going to try and keep it a secret until 10/12 weeks from our parents but we'll see! I want to tell people now!! The only person I plan on telling early, is my best friend a she is leaving next month to go travelling for a year 
she's going to miss the birth... so I really want to tell her i'm pregnant in person.

I told two girls at work (one is pregnant) that had been there through my infertility journey, DH, and my three best friends that I blog with. Oh and my boss (but he is a really good friend and had followed us through our infertility journey and knew I'd had an IUI) mainly because I keep missing work for the RE's office. We're trying not to tell family for at least a few weeks and everyone else way after that. I'm just worried that mouths are going to slip and the world will know before my parents.

Congrats and welcome: @Evenstar982, @FutureMama, and @MrsRey122. I'm excited to share this journey with you all!
We'll wait to tell people until we're nearing the 2nd trimester; our first pregnancy we told our families as a Christmas surprise and I miscarried soon thereafter. So not fun. Now we just make sure and wait.
So, I just told the husband-man, and I mentioned it to my daughter's chiropractor that has tons of resources for midwives and such in the area. I wasn't a fan of our OB experience last time. Even still, we made our initial appointment at the OB for Feb 1st, so now we wait!
Also, I'm totally still peeing on sticks to see the lines get darker. Please tell me I'm not the only one?

@LittleGBee: I'm sorry about your miscarriage - that must have been horrible.
I think the wait til the first appt is like a pregnancy version of the TTC TWW!!! arghh its going to take forever! I'm excited to meet our OB we chose though, she seems great! And YES I have my stash of tests to keep POAS in the mean time... I want to see that line get DARK!

I was wondering who you ladies had told...Only DH and HB know so far... I am desperate to tell my parents but scared to tell anyone until we hear that heartbeat!
I recently found out though that my mum got her BFP with me on her birthday, which is at the end of Jan, so I am tempted to tell her then... But we'll see.
I have two close friends turning 30 in the next few weeks as well so trying not to hijack their celebrations with our news, but not drinking at both parties is going to be hard to keep a low profile!

We haven't told anyone yet. We're going to try to wait until after we see/hear a heartbeat. The struggle is that this weekend I'm going to visit college friends for a 30th birthday party. Then, in two weeks, we are going to an all-inclusive resort with a big group of friends. If I can make it through both of those things without anyone catching on, it'll be a miracle. My first appointment isn't until Feb 11th. We'll be on vacation when I'm 7 weeks, and my husband will be traveling for work the next week, so it's going to be a long wait!

DH just called, and his work trip doesn't start until later in the week, so I moved our first appt up a week! Now I only have to wait until 2/4! It's still going to feel like forever.

Due Date: September 10 (our wedding anniversary :))
Months It Took to Conceive: 15 LONG months
DPO You Found Out You Were Preggo On: 15 I think. - it was New Year's which is the halfway point between DH's birthday and mine. Confirmed with bloodwork the next day at the RE.
Symptoms That Made You Think You Were Pregnant: I had an inkling but I've had inklings before so I didn't have any hope. It was our first IUI. Really painful nipples. I thought AF was going to show up, though, as I had that feeling and the cramping.

What You're Most Excited For: I'm actually excited that we made it this far. Trying for more than a year and I began to think it'll never happen. I"m looking forward to everything. I have a lot of m/s right now (no puking - yet but a lot of gagging) and I couldn't be happier
What You're Most Scared About: We have our first ultrasound next week and I am absolutely terrified that we will not have a hb or it will be a weak one. To finally get to this point and to lose it so soon would be devastating. I"m trying not to think about it, though, as it is out of my hands. Just trying to eat healthy, drink lots of water, see my acupuncturist and be positive.

The only people who know right now are my boss and the director of the dept just b/c of appointments and also should anything go wrong, they're going to know anyway.
We are going to tell our parents on Friday. It's not ideal as I wanted to wait until the u/s but it's my birthday and we go to our favorite sushi restaurant so they are going to think something's up anyway when I don't drink sake and eat raw fish. It also will be nice to have the support should things not go as planned.
We'll tell siblings next week and the others in February/March.

@MK0180: So glad to have another first time IUI success buddy on this due date board. Did your RE only do one blood test to confirm? I'm having to go in EOD for beta testing. Round 2 results come in around noon and I'm so anxious. We're lucky to get u/s so early though. Most regular doctors don't do them that fast.

@marionberry: Hey there! Yes, I went in for two bloodtests. The first was to confirm pregnancy and get beta results and progesterone levels. Then I went two days later to get blood drawn to check to make sure the HCG levels had doubled and also my thyroid. I then met with the nurse who went over my EDD, the dos and don'ts of pregnancy and then we scheduled my u/s. I was anxious too about these results but not as nervous as the initial bloodwork (maybe b/c I thought it was a dream and that it would not be true!). I am grateful as well that we can get in early u/s! If all goes well next week then they will release me to my OB. Hope you hear back with great numbers I'm sure you will

@MK0180: This information has been really helpful. As I started writing this, my RE called me and my hCG more than doubled! I go in 1/28 for my u/s. Yay! I did ask the nurse about my thyroid because it was a bit low (2.9) at my original appointment and they had said they were going to retest it in a month, so she scheduled that to be done at my u/s too. I feel so relieved.

I can't believe there is a September 13' board! My LO's due date was in September 12' (ended up being born at the end of August), but it's just so crazy to think I was in this same position this time last year. Congrats mommas!

Is anyone or did anyone find it difficult to focus at work in the days after you found out you were pregnant? I barely want to work and primarily just want to look up baby stuff haha.

@marionberry: I've spent nap times being incredibly unproductive. The house is a total disaster and I took a nap this morning and told my husband "What? I'm growing a human!" But now I'm off to speed clean the house and get dinner going. Silly guests coming for dinner are ruining my unproductiveness.

I had the crappiest night last... I knew it was gonna happen sooner or later... A migraine. I'm a long time sufferer and by geez it was horrible. I refused to take any painkillers as EVERYTHING cautions you off taking it in the first trimester and I don't want to risk this beautiful baby! It was bad.... I couldn't stand.... I was sitting in the bottom of the shower with hot water pouring on me and I was shivering. I think my body was in complete shock. 
If DH had of been home I think I would have gone to the hospital, but I was in no state to do anything by myself. I called him but he was flat out at work and couldn't answer .I'm definitely going to have to talk to my doctor about future management whilst pregnant.
Fast forward to today I feel much better, but very crampy... I POAS again and that line is so beautiful...it's gotten really dark in 2 days. I'll post a pic
