Has anyone on here attended a wedding on a yacht? It will be on a river and there will be dancing afterward. I was looking for a pair of heels, but wondering about how stable I will be on a boat trying to dance and if I should get sandals instead (it will be warm).

How big of a yacht? If it's big enough for a wedding/dancing, it should be stable enough that you can wear heels - if it's on the smaller side, and will only have a handful of people attending, I'd err on the side of sandals!

I'd probably do wedges. Though on a river there won't be too much motion in the ocean.

depends on the size of the boat but it doesn't sound like it will be too rocky on a river!

I would go with wedges too. I have nude wedges I wear with cocktail dresses, but I'm not the most super stylish person

I'd wear flats. Especially if I were going to be drinking. Keep in mind boarding and un boarding and the possibility of narrow and sometimes slippery stairways once onboard.

Some boats have restrictions on what kind of shoes you can wear on deck. If they didn't mention it, I'd assume no restrictions apply?
