It's me again, the newly pregnant lady with about a zillion questions. I was recently diagnosed with a moderate sized SCH. I measured around 5 weeks, so obviously we couldn't see much on the ultrasound and there's many reasons at this point why the pregnancy may not be viable. The doctor told me that it does increase risk of miscarriage but in many, many cases women with SCH go on to have healthy pregnancies. I know some people with SCH get put on bed rest, but the doctor said exercise is fine and won't affect it - that restrictions won't help, beyond no sex.

I'm curious what other's experiences have been - whether others experienced multiple instances of red bleeding, whether there were clots, and whether the bleeding was something that continued for weeks/months or resolved relatively quickly. So far I just had one evening of red bleeding followed by several days of brown spotting, and while of course every pregnancy is different, I don't know if I should expect a repeat of the heavier red bleeding.
