What do you do when your LO just will not fall asleep? It's 1:30 in the morning and I have just left a crying 14 month old in her crib in hopes that she will eventually pass out.

We have had it pretty easy here lately, but tonight, after going to sleep like usual around 7:30, she woke up at 10:30 and cried long enough that Dh went in to sooth her. Holding her standing up, she will rest her head on your chest and seem asleep, but put her in her crib and she freaks. We brought her into our bed and she crawled around like it was play time, even after I nursed her. I went into her room, pitch black, sound machine on, and nursed her laying on the bed in her room. She seemed so tired but couldn't get settled and was flipping around too much and I was afraid she would fall. After an HOUR of her trying to settle in the bed with me, I put her in the crib and the screaming started up again.

I don't really know what else to try. Fingers crossed but she may have fallen asleep in the crib, finally. Any tips for the next time??

Oh and she's definitely teething- first molar broke through this week, so I have her Motrin a couple hours ago.
