Favorite brand of toddler sunglasses that aren't just "kitschy"?
ie actually protect her eyes from the sun's glares? Stays on well and "indestructible"?
Thanks!

Baby Banz or Kid Banz? We had a pair with the strap across the back, but my DD didn't really like it, but I think they are highly rated for their protection.

Julbo!!
There is no "right side up" to the looping sunglasses so LO can easily put them on themselves. They are flexible too so they sort of wrap around their head instead of looping over the ears.

We've had luck with some cheapies from Carter's. He can't pit them on himself but they've never fallen off while playing.

Babiators. They're very cute and seemingly indestructible. LO is still little so she hasn't had them without me right there, but I bent them and played with them to check them out and they seem pretty good.

We loved Babiators when LO was a baby. They're so cute. He wore them for most of the summer before he realized he could pull them off. I'm curious to see whether he'll keep them on this summer (judging by how interested he is in my glasses and DH's, my current bet is a firm "no").

@anbanan15: Ohh those look nice! Can you speak to sizing? Their site doesn't have much that I can find, and the amazon page is wonky. LO is 13 months and 95% percentile for head...

Another vote for babiators. Not only are they great, you can't beat the replacement guarantee that comes with them!

@scg00387: hmm we had the looping 1 for DS and he could wear them as an infant and during his second year but his head has always been in the middle (50-60%tile).
They wrap around so I would think if they were a little big they would still work. They also come with a band to wrap around their heads and help keep them on.
