@JoJoGirl: Hurray! So happy for you. Sending lots of good wishes.

I'm 6dpo-ish and trying to not panic yet... I feel crampy but I'm only 6dpo, hah! I don't know how to strike a balance between being hopeful and being too realistic.

I got a squinter today at 9dpo! Not sure when this will feel real. I'm going to call the NP Monday and ask for a Friday appointment.

Okay, ladies. I need help again. I just got a super faint line on a frer at 13dpo. The thing is, I feel like it's lighter than the line I got at 10dpo with my mmc and last month at 12dpo with my CP. I know every pregnancy is different, but I feel like this isn't a good sign. Experiences?

@MrsDragon: yay congrats!! @Zbug: awesome!! Maybe you aren't as many DPO as you think? Ugh. Analyzing lines is just so frustrating :(. Fingers crossed for you!!

@Mrs. Champagne: thanks. Pretty sure abt dpo (used opks) but will see! How are you doing?

@Zbug: I think different batches of FRERs are probably different. Maybe call your doc to get a blood test? Good luck and congrats!

@catlady: thanks! I just asked this question on the main boards as well - bc I'm apparently now a crazy person. I will probably call dr on Monday if no AF.

@Zbug: Aw, no you're not crazy. I totally get it. I hope it works out!

@Zbug: I'm good. 11 weeks and have an ultrasound on the 23. Cannot wait... If that one is good I'll feel a lot of relief. I'm still so nervous!

    persimmon / 1355 posts

@Mrs. Champagne: best of luck and be sure to update us! I'm sure it will be great, but I totally understand. Whenever this all works out, I think I will be nervous until I'm pushing out a healthy baby

I'm officially going off Facebook now. Three announcements in two days, and I'm done. Can't even pretend to handle it anymore.

Thank you everyone. I'm still kind of in shock and having some survivors guilt so to speak. Resisted the urge to buy a bunch of tests today.

Love the happy news on here. Sometimes when I'm on a good day it's hard for me to get on this thread bc I feel so sad for everyone else.

@jaguar I'm off it too, it sucks.

@JoJoGirl: @MrsDragon: amazing!!! I'm so, so glad for both of you. I was offline for the past few days traveling--it's nice to come back to this avalanche of great news

@Zbug congratulations!! like @catlady said, so many people on here went in and had strong betas from squinter tests, particularly the new curved FRERs. I have fingers crossed for you that everything is fine

  35. LCTBQE

    nectarine / 2461 posts

@jaguar: @LibbyLou: agreed, FB is garbage. Since the miscarriages I've also quit Instagram, and I don't miss it.

As I thought would happen, my SIL told me yesterday that she was pregnant again, and her due date is a couple of days before my would-have-been due date with m/c #2. Reminded of of a very, very diet-version of what happened to @delight. It really got to me and I'm dreading spending the holidays with my extended family celebrating the pregnancy. Same jam as always: I want to be happy for her, but I'm too busy feeling like someone punched me in the chest.

It's easy to feel so much genuine joy for those of you here who are having success, but in real life, it's kind of like, I'd appreciate it if time would freeze while I get pregnant, and only then will it be okay for everyone else to proceed. So, I'm insane

  36. mrsmacandcheese

    blogger / clementine / 985 posts

    @LCTBQE: thank you.

  37. jaguar

    pomegranate / 3764 posts

@LCTBQE: You're not insane. I've felt the same way before. Only add in the Infertility part as well as the miscarriages making me sad.. because not being able to get pregnant naturally limits our chances of it ever happening for us again.

  38. Zbug

    persimmon / 1355 posts

@LCTBQE: I get it. I think it's bc on here I know that you have all struggled and dealt with a lot to get a sticky baby. Or maybe I'm crazy too.

  39. delight

    pomelo / 5326 posts

@LCTBQE: ah crap I'm sorry. It is so hard when it is friends who share similar due dates but with family it's almost unbearable. Honestly I'll never recover from our blow. My relationship with my bro and SIL will never be the same. I will try to put on a happy face this Christmas and I know you will too. But it's ok to be hurt and jealous on the inside. Wine helps. And I totally get what you're saying about feeling happy for everyone here who gets pregnant, but anyone else in real life gets the stink eye from me!

This Saturday marks the one year anniversary of losing Ava. I was positive I would be pregnant again by this Christmas. Ugh.

Sending so much love to everyone. It seems doubly unfair to deal with pain over the holidays when everyone else seems to be rolling in joy.
