Date of loss: No HB on our first u/s at 8 weeks (July 31). D&C was last Wednesday.
How long are you waiting to TTC again: Doctor says as soon as I get my period back, so let's see. We're almost a week post-D&C so I'm hoping by September I'll be ovulating again?
Any kids: DD turned 2 in May.
How are you feeling? Like shite still.

Date of loss: July 11 at 8weeks- ectopic discovered. Bleeding started July 4th
How long are you waiting: unsure! I am on CD 3 so I need to start my clomid TODAY if it's this month.
This will be my 1st LO
How are you feeling: surprisingly okay today. It's officially been a month and I am only crying about it once a week rather than once a day/hour. Small victories!!
I am 90% sure I will start clomid- DH and I agree it's good to get me ovulating again. Not sure we will go full out with TI like we were doing.

I wanted to pop in to say the same as @LibbyLou - take care of yourselves ladies. It's hard to TTC after a loss when you're still reeling from the hormones of being pregnant, then not. I've unfortunately been in this situation 4 times, and it stinks. If anyone has any questions or needs support, feel free to PM me.

Date of loss: Miscarried naturally at 7 weeks (6/23 which is LO1's birthday).
How long are you waiting to TTC again: I was given the clear to try again as soon as my hcg levels zeroed out, which only took 2-3 weeks following the miscarriage. We tried the cycle before the first post-miscarriage period without any expectations and it wasn't successful. My period shockingly came 28 days after the miscarriage and I just ovulated yesterday for the first time since my period returned.
Any kids: DS just turned 3 (and begs daily for a baby brother AND sister).
How are you feeling? Hopeful and much more at peace with my situation now. It had taken me 5 months to get pregnant so the miscarriage was devastating when it appeared that I was starting at square 1 now. I've been doing acupuncture, majorly cleaned up my diet to help improve egg quality, etc. If nothing else, I'm on the path to being much healthier than I was before the miscarriage.

How are you feeling? Very frustrated and angry, but hopeful. I always feel hopeful around ovulation...
I'm CD22 and have an almost positive OPK, I think. This is actually early for ovulating for me. If I don't get pregnant this cycle I will be trying metformin for a couple of cycles and then on to clomid. Happy to have a plan.

Date of loss: No HB on our first u/s at 9 weeks 2 days on July 21. The sac was measuring 6 weeks so they said maybe my dates were off (ughhh) and made me wait a week for another US. They confirmed then it was still the same. I had started to bleed a bit by this point. So I took misoprostol on July 29 and it worked within 3 hours.
How long are you waiting to TTC again: i don't want to wait at all. June will be a horrible time for us to be due. And my BFF is getting married in August 
we don't know what we will do yet.
Any kids: My son is 17 months.
How are you feeling? Ok. I knew something was wrong since the beginning and I think that helped me not be devastated. Physically I'm fine.

Got the news today...
Date of loss: No HB today at 2nd ultrasound. Should have been 9 weeks. The first ultrasound showed healthy HB but the gestational sac was too small based on the age the baby measured. I'm currently trying to decide between natural, assisted natural or D&C (which I had a bad experience recovering with previously)
How long are you waiting to TTC again: I'm expecting it will be at least early October once everything regulates.
Any kids: DS is 1
How are you feeling? Being able to kiss my son after the bad news does help, but I am feeling the doubts creep in about whether our family will look the way we envisioned since 2 of my 3 pregnancies ended at 8 weeks.

Date of loss: found out end of July at our 8w scan that baby had stopped growing at 6.5w. Had D&C last week.
How long are you waiting to TTC again? Will try again after the next cycle kicks in, which hopefully is in September.
Any kids? A sweet 18mo who is helping a lot at this point
How are you feeling? Today I feel ok. But each day is so different. Some days I will not think about it or be very pragmatic about it, others I will question everything and struggle to face the world but family time has helped, as has planning some holidays and self care time.
Sorry to all the other ladies on here, it's crazy how many people this affects!

Thanks for starting this. I always feel like a little bit of a fraud when talking about my loss because it was a CP super early on and at a time we weren't planning for a baby nor was it a good time for us to be pregnant, but it really impacted me a lot more than I imagined and has made me so nervous about ttc next cycle (waiting on AF who is conveniently 2 days late...)
Date of loss: March 5th (DD1 due date) at about 5 weeks..
How long are you waiting to TTC again: We weren't trying the cycle of our cp, so we stuck to our original plan of ttc in August.
Any kids: DD will be 18 months next week.
How are you feeling? Excited and nervous about ttc. Nervous about another loss, not being able to get pregnant, and the whole idea of having a second In general. We got lucky getting pregnant right away with DD1 who wasn't exactly planned and I think we both assumed it Will be a breeze again, but after the cp my confidence was pretty shaken. Now that I'm having a wonky cycle after months of very regular and predictable makes me nervous, too.

I'm new to posting on HB (long-time lurker) and we aren't quite ready to TTC, but I'm apprehensive about the process and I think joining this thread will be helpful. I'm so sorry for everyone else's losses, but I really appreciate this avenue for support.
Date of loss: May 7th, TFMR along with L&D at 23 weeks. Baby boy had a severe CPAM - it completely destroyed his lungs and he was in the early stages of heart failure.
How long are you waiting to TTC again: My doctor said to wait 6 months, so we're working to be ready to try again in November.
Any kids: DS just turned 2 1/2.
How are you feeling? I have good days and bad. I've coped by holding on to the idea that our baby will return to join our family once we've made a stronger body for him. Makes the loss feel less permanent? Grief is so isolating and it drives me crazy that other people seem surprised that I'm not "over" it already...

@catomd00: I hear you on the early loss thing too...some of the real life friends I have told who have not experienced it themselves are surprised that it's so shattering even with it being 'so early'. It's hard to explain that even days/weeks is heaps of time to get attached to an idea of a little person

Hey all. Joining in and hoping for healthy babies soon for us all.
Date of loss: saw a strong heartbeat at 6 weeks but ultrasound at almost 10 weeks showed baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. Had d&c a couple days later (end of June).
TTC: trying now but not entirely sure I ovulated this cycle.
Any kids: dd will be 2 in October.
Feeling: pretty good. I'm really hoping it just doesn't take too long to conceive again. I'm a little worried about whether everything is back on course. I track cm and use opks, but I'm thinking abt starting to chart.

Date of loss: In March I had a blighted ovum discovered at 8 week ultrasound, D&C at 9 weeks. Then had a chemical pregnancy in June.
How long are you waiting to TTC again: We're trying! This month work was really stressful and I think it totally screwed up my cycle. Hoping AF is coming in the next day or two, then back to trying.
Any kids: DD turns 2 in September.
How are you feeling? Ready to have another baby! But also just so nervous. I had a CP before my daughter, so all in all I'm 1 for 4 on positive pregnancy tests actually resulting in a baby. So grateful for my sweet daughter, but hoping she gets a play mate soon.

@JoJoGirl: When I had my first MC in 2012, I didn't have a D&C, I took misoprotal, so take this with a grain of salt. I bled for a really long time, even after I had an u/s that showed everything was gone. I stopped bleeding after 8 weeks and then got my period 2 weeks later. I am an extreme case I think, but just wanted to warn you it could go on for a while.
As for the anger thing, that didn't really go away the first time until I was pregnant again. This time it comes and goes and I am 4 months out from my loss.

Of that. My sister has had 2 MCs (one at 6w and one at 8w). My mother who has never had a MC was completely insensitive and kept saying "it's no big deal it's just like a heavy period" ummm no, not really!

@JoJoGirl: When I had a D&C, I had some bleeding for 2 weeks. The first week was like a normal period and then after that, it was a little lighter. I ended up getting my period 5 weeks after the procedure.
As far as the pissed off at the world feeling, it comes and goes. Keep in mind that you're not only going through a really crappy experience, but your hormones are totally out of whack! I felt much better emotionally after my period came back and my hormones got back to normal.

Thanks all. Glad it's not just me with the being pissed off thing. This is the worst. Why don't people talk more about how horrible it is? It's horrible.
Anyway, okay yes the doc said to expect up to 2 weeks. I didn't bleed at ALL the first 3-4 days, so it's weird it's sort of picked up more in the last few.

@JoJoGirl: I hesitate to even share my D&C experience since it's pretty atypical, but I bled for nearly 3months before I was finally given progesterone and regulated my cycle. I'm scared to death, but that's why I'm leaning toward natural miscarriage for this one. I would definitely be aggressive with your doctor if you start to feel like you are bleeding for too long.
And again, the pissed off at the world thing didn't go away for me with my 1st pregnancy until I was pregnant with my son 7 months later... I sure hope that's not the case this time around!

@runnerd: I'm so sorry. I used misoprostol which I had a good experience with.
The ultrasound two days after I took it showed everything had cleared. It has now been two weeks and the bleeding is mostly stopped other then an occasional bit of spotting. I took a pregnancy test this morning to see if it was negative yet, and it still has a super super faint line. I read that can take 4-6 weeks for hgc to leave the system. Let me know if you have any questions about using the drugs!

@Mrs. Champagne: thank you, I went and read your post about it yesterday. My doctor sent me home with misoprostol with instructions to call them if I decided to go that route. I want to take it and get everything over with but I'm scared, and hoping to make it closer to the weekend so I don't have to use too much PTO.

I did, however, find that talking to a friend who went through same thing helped a lot. It's probably similar to friends with/without babies, while friends who don't have any are well-meaning - they just might not know anything about it to react appropriately.
@JoJoGirl: I had minimal spotting in the days following, but then ramped up on the weekend (along with my plummeting mood & general anger at the world)..:tapering off now though. Hopefully the same goes for you. Was wondering if it was due to the exercise, but my OB had already given me the green light for the gym by the weekend...so can't use that as an excuse!

@Nutella: Yes I was back at the gym within 40 hrs of D&C (made me feel better). Also didn't start bleeding til maybe 4 days after. And the anger at the world has generally been pretty stable since our ultrasound
.@Mrs. Champagne: Ugh, I don't think I can bring myself to take a pregnancy test and see it positive. I'm going to my doc for a follow up blood test in 2 weeks (3 weeks post-D&C) so will just assume by then it's negative.

How long are you waiting: We started TTC right away and I ovulated a few weeks later. Unfortunately, AF showed up today
How are you feeling: Not good Recently learned my BFF is pregnant ( due same date I would have been) and that's been tough. the. AF arriving reminds me of misscarriaging 1 month ago and now I'm crying like an idiot at my desk ...

I had a final ultrasound today.
She said if she didn't know I'd had a miscarriage from the notes she read first, she wouldn't have been able to tell. She was super nice. She also said my uterine lining was thick and I'm about o ovulate she thought.
I want to go for it and try, but confused because my HPT was very lightly positive yesterday.
Any thoughts appreciated?!

Is anyone ttc this month? I think I'm 2 dpo, but I'm not entirely convinced I actually O'ed. If I did, I think our timing was pretty good and currently feeling hopeful. I'm just afraid that it's going to be a lot harder if we don't conceive this month than it was when we were trying back in the spring. It sucks to be back in the 2ww after almost making it through the first trimester. Anyone else?

@Mrs. Champagne: I actually didn't have any followups after my d&c, but I say go for it if you're feeling ready. I've heard that some people O with higher hcg levels than others, so who knows. Maybe just try to think abt this as a hope for the best but don't expect it to work month?

I'm trying again this month. We did the sperm meet egg plan this month with every other day until a positive opk (then 3 days in a row). I'm now 3 dpo so we'll see. I'm feeling physically better than I've felt in months so I'm just feeling thankful for that. I think I may have had a hormone imbalance before the pregnancy and then I felt awful most of that pregnancy before the miscarriage occurred (not at all like my first pregnancy that resulted in the birth of my son).

@ModernDayJibarita @Zbug @Nutella: I'm so, so sorry. Dates can be so triggering and I can't imagine how painful it is to know people w such significant EDDs.
We just found out that DH's childhood best friend's wife is pregnant with their second, and the news was shared with us in a really insensitive way. We're of course happy for them but it still really hurts.
And @JoJoGirl: I didn't realize how pissed off I was until you named it! My frustration is mainly with people that aren't very empathetic. But I'm also weirdly pissed at Kim Kardashian for being pregnant, which makes me feel like a crazy person...

@noelani: I too, am shitty at those who aren't empathetic! It's very strange, not like I want the whole world to be sad, but I think I was expecting a bit more from close family...but it's like once they got the memo it's common, they sort of moved on
I'm soo tired this week - possibly need to take iron supplements?! Need to have evening naps before bedtime...makes me feel even more blah!
