@blackbird: I've never heard of the ultrasound treatment. Sounds interesting. I had a question about your pain. I'm getting pain 10-15 minutes after feeding. Part of my nipple turns white at the same time so I was suspecting vasospasm However, I also have a bleb that is partially blocked on that breast and don't feel a clog. I hadn't considered that the two might be related. Do you have any nipple color change with your pain?

Do you notice he is clicking the entire feeding or only during your let down? LO had a revision too and I was worried about clicking that I heard afterwards. My LC said that the clicking can be when the letdown is fast and he's trying to control the flow. I noticed that the clicking only happens when I have a let down and when the flow slows down there is no clicking sound. Can you see any reattachment?

Hmm. I have recurring blebs. They come back every week and they block an entire pore so it is painful while nursing and the milk gets stuck too. I don't know why but lecithin really helps. I take 4 pills a day and they have stopped recurring. If i even miss one pill, the bleb starts forming again. I don't know if it is something about the composition of my milk that triggers an inflammatory response of the skin? I am perplexed by how lecithin keeps them at bay, but it works for me. Have you tried that?

@blackbird: aw ok. Sorry. I know how frustrating these blebs are. My last suggestion is changing up nursing positions every time so there isnt too much friction on that one spot...does it go away when you pump for a few sessions? Then maybe you could at least determine whether it is caused by babys latch or not.

@blackbird: yes! I remember it being toe curling pain when she first latched and then it would subside. But it def still hurt when i pumped with my blebs, so i guess our blebs are different good luck. Hope the ultrasound works.

@blackbird: is it still going good? I've had a Bleb on my nipple for 2 months now, and the pain went away for awhile, but now it's back in full force. How did you know if it was a partial clog? I haven't tried popping it with a needle yet, but I think that's my next step

@blackbird: Good to know! Yea I definitely think I have a fully blocked one then. I never see any milk leaking out at all. I'm just so scared of trying to peel the skin back. I was talking to a nurse on the phone, and she said it can get infected really easily, and you have to be so careful. Plus I'm such a wimp, and I feel like it's going to hurt SO bad!!

@blackbird: Did you just use something like a sewing needle? (sterilized of course) My nurse offered to have my come in and have her and the Dr do it, but truthfully if it's something simple like that, I'm not going to pay for the stupid office visit if I can just do it!

Yea, nursing is excruciating, if I can do anything to help it, I'm going to. Well maybe tonight when I get home I will commit to trying it. How did you soften the skin before peeling the skin?
