a very light maple. HATE them with a burning passion, but they're really nice (and very expensive). I can't imagine replacing them since they're in great shape (and I'm poor lol)

We have honey oak right now. While they're not horrible, they're not good. Sadly, it will be years before we're able to redo our kitchen!

Currently we have wood grain colored PLASTIC and I hate it.
We're working on redoing the kitchen, and now y'all have me worried. We were looking at oak (not honey, but the natural color)
Is it really that horrible??

We have a light oak color, they are okay, but builder grade and now what I would pick in our next home. I go back an forth between black and white.

Ours were that horrible 90's builder grade honey oak color. But we used Rustoleum cabinet transformations to turn them Espresso, and it worked so well. I love them now.

White- I LOVE them!! I followed the Young House Love tutorial and they turned out so well, they used to be oak. The kitchen feels so much bigger now. *Please excuse the craziness, the before was more of an in progress shot, and the after is from today and we just got back from a long weekend away.

Ours is an expresso like color and we have white marble counters. I really loved them at first because it looked so modern, but I'm pretty tired of them at this point. Our kitch is rather small and not whole lot of natural light so it feels a bit closed in sometimes.
One thing we keep arguing about for the kitchen in the new house is white or no. DH hates white but I'm kinda feelin' it. I love to mix it with some grey

White. Ick. Hate them. But we also have blue and white checkered floor so between that and the cabinets there is always something grungy.
