I know it's early to be thinking about this but my dad texted us and asked for our Christmas lists (!!!) and I have no idea what I want. It's our last Christmas before baby is born and I was thinking maybe a Kindle Paper white for those late night feedings.

Yessss get a paperwhite. I am reading like 3 books/week right now with all the rocking! (and the selection btw? so obsessed.)
My mom started bugging me for a list last week too and I have no idea. Of course I'm more concerned with figuring out what to put on Fia's list! But for myself I'm thinking maybe beauty-type stuff? I haven't had much time or money to spend on how I look lately and it would be nice to have some cushy products I can use at home to feel like I"m making an effort.

I was just thinking about this on the way into work today. I feel pretty boring but I want a dust buster, a larger cooler for parties, a subscription to The Week and an extra large LL Bean Tote. I also sort of want a new laptop, but think I may wait another year because ours isn't that old.

An iPhone upgrade so that I have more storage. Right now I can't fit any apps on my iPhone but Instagram because I have so many damn pictures and I don't know what to do to transfer them to my 100 year old slow as molasses laptop. Ugh.

i am asking for a photo package from my parents. i really want a maternity/newborn/baby plan package... i'm sure our parents are gonna go nuts and buy exclusively baby stuff for us for christmas.
from DH, i'm asking for a kobo (i think it's a canadian/Chapters version of kindle). i had one but it died this year and i desperately need one for vacations!

@blackbird: I'm glad I'm not alone in the electronic pack rat realm. Mine is only 16g but I have no doubt I would and will fill up any amount of space I'm given. My plan ping forward is to dump a bunch into shutterfly app. I may have to temporarily delete Instagram so I can do so before an upgrade. I too though love just having them to look at and it hurts to delete any.

I feel like I get more boring / practical every year! I would love a new straightener (mine takes forever to heat up and doesn't get hot enough) and a pasta strainer. Thrilling, yes!

@Arden: yes! My mom used to give me a 50 dollar Sephora gift card every year & I always knew exactly what I would buy with it & then we had LO & that (understandably) stopped. DH NEVER gets me a gift card & honestly that's all I ever really want since I'll never spend the money there otherwise.

@MrsMccarthy: My DH and I got our own family gmail account. From there, we store all of our photos on Picasa, upload them to Google Photos, and delete the pics off of our phones. Now, all of our family pics as well as cell phone pics & videos are all in one place. It was a bit of a pain to do, but we're finally on the same page about pictures. He can see my cell pics finally. I can see and send his, etc.
