We saw Santa this weekend and DS (4) asked for a TV and The Grinch movie. A TV of all things! I was very anti-tv for his room, mainly because I don't want him to have one in his room already, but also because $$. Our compromise is a portable dvd player, it's 12" so big enough to use in his room, but also will come in handy for car trips. Totally broke my budget though to make his Santa wish list come true!

DD asked for the vampirina b&b which is was actually released last year and I got it second hand for $20!!! She also asked for a crybaby but she got that for her bday (nov 15)

My 2.5 yr old asked Santa for candy, lol. I guess she'll probably get a little in her stocking. If only Christmas will be that easy forever!

@kayla0416: lol, love it, thanks for making it easy kiddo!
@Ajsmommy: Score!

B asked for BeyBlades and “a book so I can practice my reading” (the pride crushed my heart!) and W asked for an airplane. Easy enough, so they’ll both get them.

LO (6 yrs old) plans to ask for a Playmobil set - either this Hidden Temple dinosaur set or the aquarium "Santa can pick which one". She will get both lol since I got deals on each of them. Only one will come from Santa though (the dino one) and we'll give her the others since we know she likes them and has been asking about it for almost the whole year. Plus she really does play with these constantly over some of her other toys or trends.

DD has decided she is going to ask Santa for an ice cream set. So we'll have Santa bring her the Melissa and Doug ice cream counter set.

My 5 year old wants the big Hatchimal (she had never heard of them last year, so we missed the madness). I think they are silly, but she's been asking for a while, so I guess we'll get it. Other than that, she just asked for a Boxy Girl.
My 3 year old asked for a new Beanie Boo, specifically the rainbow owl, so we'll do that too.

DS1 (6) wants all the dinosaur toys and Lego sets. He just got some of each at his birthday so not sure what else he's looking for!
DS2 (3.5) is a tough one. He just wants Blippi toys. There really aren't any Blippi toys. I think he means that he wants the toy trucks that Blippi has in some of his videos. Otherwise, I can't get a read on what this kid is into!

My 3 year old is consistently saying she wants Santa to bring her "baby Jack-Jack" from the Incredibles. The funny thing is that we haven't even seen the new movie. I think we watched the original on TV once, but she didn't fully pay attention to it. She just saw the movie trailer a couple of times on TV and became obsessed with the baby.
It's all she's asked for consistently, so Santa will find a way to make it happen. Although, Santa had already planned on bringing her a doll bed because we need more storage for all the dolls and stuffed animals she already has!

DS keeps asking for every Duplo set imaginable. I already bought him his first set of real Legos that will be from Santa. I really hope that satisfies him. Its a classic set and all the things he's asking for have themes/characters so I'm not sure.

My 5 year has consistently asked for Cry Babies since she saw the commercial about a week ago. So of course my almost 3 year old asked for the same thing since she wants what big sister has. The thing is, they seem REALLY annoying and expensive considering we have probably a dozen baby dolls already.
@Ajsmommy: how is the Crybaby? Is it as annoying as I fear? I can remember being really young and getting a doll that cried unless you gave her her pacifier. Which of course we lost on the way home from Christmas at my grandmothers and she cried her little fake baby cry until someone stuck another pointy toy into her mouth and shut her up. It’s a vivid memory.
5 yo also asked for a cabbage patch kid which my nostalgic 80s heart is way more on board with.

@Ajsmommy: My LO asked for a crybaby too! Those things are freaky! Looks like an alien.

LO has been telling me he is going to ask for a GIANT MEMENT MIXER (cement mixer) from Santa when we go on 12/12. Shrug. If I can find one easily at Target he will get it!

@wrkbrk: omg H is asking for the SAME THING! I’m getting this one

@peaches1038: HA! That is too funny! This one looks cute - is it "giant?" Where do they come up with this stuff?!

DS wants a boy american girl doll. She knows it doesnt come from Santa though.

@wrkbrk: and it’s like $30 for a creepy looking doll that cries. I already told her Santa knows we already have a lot of cry babies (my kids) in our house. 🤣

@Foodnerd81: actually its not as bad as I expected it to be, however my DD is good about turning it off and we only put water in it once... water leaked everywhere.. it should say "only add water if you plan to hold it upright at a 90 degree angle and plan to not move it or shake it or anything"
@wrkbrk: and it's kind of cute at first.. but then yeah, if you take down it's cute hood it's kinda freaky looking... plus with the plastic opening on the back of the head for the water.. kinda Frankenstein looking

My DD (2.5) has asked him for a fire truck (we’ve already been to see Santa at our local mall several times now, but that’s a story for another day/post ). Ordered one on Amazon last week and although it’s smaller than I had envisioned, it has come cool features (lights and sounds), so I hope she’ll be happy with it.

@JennyPenny: I bought the classic Lego set for my son and he loved building everything from the booklet that came with it. Once he built all of them he was sad there wasn't any other directions since there was so many more pieces. My sister found some Lego books on Amazon with instructions for all sorts of things. Might be an idea to add on.

DD (2.5) asked for Anna and Sven and Christoff and Olaf, but not the snow monster from Frozen. She already has Elsa. I got her an Anna doll to match her Elsa and a Sven stuffed animal.
DS (6) wants Pokemon cards, and Pokemon Legos, and Star Wars Legos. He'll get all of those things, but they won't all come from Santa. We'll probably do some Pokemon stuff and Star Wars Legos from Santa.

My 3 yo asked for a race track and for Finding Dory (since it's no longer on Netflix). We got him a hot wheels track, a small hot wheels loop and magic tracks, which I actually got for free through a local facebook group.

DS (4) asked for presents. Makes life easy; I can get anything.
DD (22 months) isn't able to ask.

Apparently someone in her class is talking about LOL dolls so she asked for those. I thought we were going to escape that craze!! Luckily I found a deal for 2 LOL pets at Walmart yesterday for $8. She's also getting a game from Santa. Santa gifts done.

DS1 (5.5) asked for Pokemon Cards and anything else Pokemon related
DS2 (2.5) asked for drums
Santa brings one big-ish gift each, a combo gift they can play with together, and their stockings. They will both be getting their requests.

My son asked for a blue dinosaur last night. It's the first time he's specified!? Like I've already bought a trampoline and Melissa & Doug easel set with the full accessory set. A paw patrol bathroom kit (cup tooth brush tooth paste and something else I can't remember) and a giant paw patrol coloring book from Santa, planned on putting new crayons, candy, and ? in his stocking... Now I'm on the hunt for a blue dinosaur 🤷♀️

2.5 year old DS saw a melissa & doug set at home depot with a long flatbed truck carrying an excavator and immediately grabbed it and put it in the cart. i talked him out of it by telling him we could ask santa to bring it so now when i ask what he's going to ask santa for, he says an excavator and a "flappy truck to carry it"
ETA: totally already ordered it from amazon, along with the little excavator book by anna dewdney to go with it!

DD (4) asked for a dinosaur book and toy. I know she won’t be this easy to shop for forever, so I’m enjoying it.

DS 5.5 has asked for a reflective vest and stop sign for when he plays crossing guard. Yes, he is getting these.

3 YO DD is asking for a barn with a ladder (very specific). She’s getting the Melissa & Doug fold n go barn.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@CatchAFallingStar: my son got that for his 2nd birthday and is still playing with it regularly 7 months later. He want a big fan of the animals that came with it and preferred the chunkier cartoonish ones from his little tikes or playschool barn. I can't remember the brand for sure.

I am very jealous of all the 'easy' Santa wishlists! Hoping a TV is as bad as it gets.

LO1 (4.5 yo) hasn’t asked for anything yet. Hopefully it will be a reasonable request when he does!
