Sleep (knock on wood) has been going smoothly for us for a while. We had a few hiccups the last few days because of teething but things seem to be getting back to normal now. I could cry I'm so happy about this one.

Daycare. I'm not even sure this is a parenting thing, but daycare is going so much smoother than I could have ever thought possible. We love the teachers and the environment and we got in almost 2 months early which has been such a great thing for us!

LO has been putting on her own clothes! So now she can get ready (more or less) by herself in the morning. Especially when there is a treat or counting involved.

Bedtime routine, sleep and meal times. She eats most of her meal on her own chair before requesting to sit in our laps.

Bath time! LO would cry and scream because DH would give her a bath. But now she is good about it.

Lack of tantrums. Knock on wood!!! Yesterday she had a short-lived meltdown because she wanted to go on an airplane (so weird, so random) but overall, she's been really good and easy to calm down.

Ahhhh now i've jinxed myself!

I almost don't want to say incase I jinx myself! But since I started getting DH to put A to bed twice a week bedtimes have been easier, as she doesn't have this whole "omg mummy MUST be next to me the entire time I'm in bed or the world will end" thing going on quite so much.

Also, naps. I've been stroller napping the girls in a side-by-side and they are both getting a good, long nap. It's a far cry from how it was.

I reaaaaaly don't want to jinx things, but at the moment, a lot is going right. This is a huge change from what had been going on for the past several months...I was very exasperated/exhausted for a few months there because of LO throwing food, not going to bed easily, waking up a lot in the night, resisting the car seat, resisting brushing her teeth, throwing lots of tantrums, biting, crying at daycare drop off, etc. All of those things are much improved at the moment. She is still strong willed, but we have not had as many tantrums. She is eating well, brushing her teeth (a vibrating tooth brush was the fix!), going to sleep like a dream, STTN (mostly), getting in the carseat easily, waving bye to me at dropoff... basically she is like a new child. I think the difference is mainly that she's no longer teething, but also that we are also better able to communicate and understand each other a little better. I am sure it is just a phase, but I hope it lasts!!!!!!!!

He is talking so much more each day and able to express himself. He's so independent too. WHERE IS MY BABY!!!

Tooth brushing, hand washing, and sleep are going really well! I just hope they continue that way.

@autumnlove: okay totally jinxed it. I swear tantrums happen when DH is at home! He told her she only gets chocolate if she pees in the potty. Of course she didn't pee in the potty (she had an accident) and now she is screaming for chocolate.

I feel really close with her/ definitely enjoying our time together more now that I'm working 3 days a week.

Honestly, the other stuff, like eating, sleeping, etc is kind of a mess right now, but we are muddling through.

Oh, and last night she asked to get out of the tub so she could poop on the potty instead of in the water. I've never loved her more

Yay for positivity! We are slowly going to one nap and the transition really hasnt been too bad.

I feel really close to the kids lately! This morning I headed out with my son to summer camp dropoff, and my daughter came running to give me a hug and a kiss before I left. Highlight of my day!!

Also, we're doing a screentime detox after traveling and the kids are loving doing arts and crafts instead.

For DD - this week she's sleeping good but bedtimes are a mess (taking almost an hour)

For new DS - nursing is great even though it's like every hour. No pain so I can't complain
