I don't think I'd want to go much past 3-3.5 years. I think *if* I were to ever have another LO a 2.5-3 year age gap would be nice since LO1 and LO2 are only 19 months apart, it can be pretty tough sometimes having them SO close.
What is the largest age gap you would consider between your kids? Or does that not make a difference one way or another for you?

We'll most likely have a pretty large gap between 2-3. I want to go back to school for 2 years and get settled again. We're looking at 4-5 years but I could do more if it felt right.

5 years. Only because I want to be done for sure when I'm 35 and that is how big the gap would be if I had one then. My brother is 8 years older than me (and we are the only 2) and I think there are a lot of benefits to big gaps. (also benefits to small gaps-- but I just don't think big gap are as big a deal as others do...)

I'm 4.5 years older than my sister and I think it's just on the outside of being too far. I'd prefer smaller gaps because of my age.

When we were first TTC I thought the largest gap I would go for was 3ish years. A and C were 3 years 2 days apart. I didn't think I would ever have more kids after A died...but I do want another baby and I want C to have a sibling. So we are waiting until I'm completely healed from my csection and then will pursue IVF with PGD. So now I'm looking at least a 5 year age gap - bigger than I had ever thought but we will make it work

My brother and I are 9.5 years apart, I don't think I'll want to be pregnant at 41, but the age difference wouldn't be what stopped me

Not for any issues w big gaps w kids, just because I will be 32 when I have lo#2 and I'd like to have #3 (if we do) before 40.

I don't have a max. We're not having anymore so it's a moot point, but I think siblings can be close even with a large age gap. I actually think a 4-4.5 year age gap is perfect.

5-7 years. My sister and I are 13 years apart, and the only two children. I am close with her, but only as close as I can be with a 16 year old.

Probably 4 years (though we will be trying for between 2.5 and 3 ideally). I'm 4.5 years older than my brother and I'd like a smaller gap for my kids if possible, just so they can have more similar interests growing up.

Before life got in the way I wanted them about 2 years apart.... I'll probably be closer to 3. I think there are advantages to both. I think if my son was 5 and kind of independent, I might be "over" the baby stage and unwilling to go back!

I'd say 5. My goal is 3-3.5 only because I don't want to get too used to sleep and me time again before having a baby tear it all away.

Mine are about 22 months apart. If we have another, that would put 5.5 years between the oldest and youngest!

As for us, I would prefer no more than a 3 year age gap (even though I think a larger gap is perfectly fine - my sister and I are 5 years apart!) mostly because I am anxious to be done with pregnancies but DH wants to wait to TTC to a time that would make my current youngest about 4 years apart from the next baby. So I guess 3-4 ideally?

I want to say 4-5 years. Mainly because I don't want to revisit the baby stage alllll over again once the older ones are well past that. And just the practical logistics of managing kids in completely different stages.

I don't have a max specifically for a gap, but I had my first when I was 29, so I probably wouldn't want to wait much longer than 5 years to have another just for energy/health reasons.

I don't have a maximum, really. I always said I wanted them quite close.... but if that's not to be (and its not because I'm not ready yet!) then any age gap is fine.

I don't really have one, because I don't think a big age gap is a big deal and having them close together is tough! I want one more and I think there'll be about a 5-6 year gap between number 2 and 3. I worry about having kids into my mid and late 30's because of my endometriosis and MTHFR.

No max. We haven't decided if we'll have another, but if we do, the smallest gap they'd be apart is 4 years at this point. For us, it's more about when we're ready, not how close we want the siblings to be in age.

Meh. Ours will be a minimum of 5/6 years apart. My siblings are much older than me. I don't think its a big deal. I actually ptobably would not go closer together than 4 years.

I don't really think there's a max? If anything, mine will be closer together (like, 3 years) because I started on things in my 30's - not because I'm overly concerned about spacing time.

I don't think a big gap is a big deal though. My sister is 6 years older than me and we're bffs.
My other sister is a little less than 3 years older and we don't get along.
