I agree the Old Betty Crocker is awesome. I also love, love, love church cookbooks. They have the best recipe. Every year my mom and I do a couple big Christmas baking days. Love that special tradition with her. Her favorite treat is white chocolate covered pretzels and mine is snickers surprise cookies or sugar cookies.

Molassas cookies are my favorite.

I think Paula Dean's chocolate cake mix cookie is the fastest disappearing around Christmas. It's only chocolate cake mix, an egg, a brick of cream cheese, a stick of butter and vanilla. Then rolled in powder sugar and baked. It's a very typical, fattening Paula dean recipe lol but they taste SO good. If I were left alone with them, I could probably eat the whole batch.

My favorite have always been my grandma's "kiss cookies" - peanut butter cookies with the chocolate kiss pressed into the middle. We always called them kiss cookies - I don't know what they're called in real life!

Shortbreads and Sugar Cookies!
I make these cookies my fmaily begs for every year: Chocolate Chip Shortbread sticks dipped in melted chocolate. We call them two day cookies.

@Wondermommy: Dark chocolate with white chocolate chips. I never knew the actual name for them. It's just what I call them. Hahaha. I always make them especially for Christmas. =)

I've got a repertoire of about a million favourite Christmas cookies, but the one I'm craving most right now is either Martha Stewart's Chocolate-Chunk Gingerbread, or my grandmother's whipped shortbread with maraschino cherries. So goood.
