LO is 2.5 and has figured out how to climb out of her crib. She has always loved her crib and been (mostly) happy to sleep/nap in it. But she suddenly hates it and screams about not wanting her crib any more.

I'm pretty surprised we made it this long in the crib, honestly. I'm hoping she gets through this phase and goes back to loving her crib, at least until we potty train, but if not, I'm looking for some advice on a smooth transition to the bed.

She has a convertible crib so it will be the same thing just without the 4 walls. She'll be able to get in and out of her bed on her own.

We'll need to re-baby proof her room since right now there are a few things that aren't totally safe if she were to be free to roam the room alone, which she's never done before.

Anything work or NOT work for you guys when you moved from a crib to a bed?
