@simplyfelicity: My husband is 6'6" and everyone expected us to have giant babies but they were tiny nuggets at 6.7 and 6.4

@Truth Bombs: You must be teeny then! I am 5'7 and medium build. No little babies for us! Which is alright by DH, he likes for our babies to be "sturdy."

My kids doubled their birth weights right before they turned 4 months old.
    DD was 8lb1oz at birth
    DS 8lb8oz
    I had chunky babies

@simplyfelicity: I'm not! I'm 5'7" and was 8.8 when I was born. For some reason I just make tiny babies. My son is still little at 5 months but our 3 year old is one of the tallest kids in her preschool class (but crazy skinny!).

I don't remember with dd1... I think around 5 months? She was 7lb14 at birth

Dd2 was big - 9lb4oz...she still hasn't quite doubled, but is close (18lb) at 6.5 months

Both of my LOs were 8lb 5oz at birth. LO1 was 16lb at 4 months so probably doubled around 5? LO2 is almost 6 months and I don't think she'll have doubled yet at her next appointment (she was under 14lb at her 4 month appointment).

Not yet at nearly 16 months!

He was 11 lbs when he was born, but is just over 19 lbs now. Numerous weight checks and obsessing over his eating was doing nothing to help the cause. He's a happy, healthy boy and meeting his milestones...that's all that matters to me!
