Toddler for DS. But even easier is preschool

It can also depend on the kid. My first was harder as a baby, easier as a toddler. Opposite with my second.

Infant was easier. Toddler is more fun.

INFANT, by far- I have a super headstrong toddler. But as everyone says, toddler is more fun! I am enjoying the heck out of the infant stage the second time around though! I think I was too tired last time. Never was a believer in the terrible twos until we introduced a little brother, hopefullyin our case threes are better.

Toddler stage has been WAY easier here. M cried all the time as a baby (MSPI), breastfeeding was a nightmare, I was so anxious, the list goes on and on! I'm already eager to be past the baby stage with #2 and I'm not even due until December

Toddler easier because he was a cranky baby with feeding issues. But he's a super active and willful child so toddler time has not been easy, either!

Toddler. Even now when she's sick with a stomach bug and I've had to spoon feed her tiny bits of water every 5 mins since 5am - I still say toddler!

DD was harder as an infant, and easier as a toddler.
DS was easier as an infant, and harder as a toddler.

Easier? Umm the time between 6-12 months of age.

DS was a difficult baby and easy toddler. So far, DD has been an easy baby, I hope it lasts!

newborn-infant was pretty easy for us. toddler has been a little more difficult, but it's so much easier to make plans and more fun to engage with her! but i guess i vote infant.

Newborn stage was the hardest because of sleep deprivation. The rest of infancy was pretty easy. Toddler is easy when they become more independent but more difficult when they tantrum. Keeping a toddler safe (especially a daredevil) can be hard too!

Mid-infancy. I loved the 6-12 month stage. Newborn time was very difficult with colic and sleep deprivation. He became a lot more fun as an infant learning to crawl and navigate. Toddler hood started out okay, but it gets tough with the independence and tantrums. Learning how to manage those have been key to making life easier. Some days it feels like we're dueling salesmen. Toddler LO wants to do this, but I want to do something else. We'll negotiate or figure out which action sounds desirable to the both of us.

For us, toddler is easier only because she sleeps through the night!
