On the downside, she is apparently suffering from hyperemesis and is in the hospital, so that is sad

I'm very surprised the palace announced this while she's still in the first trimester. I guess they figured the press would find out she was in the hospital and rumors would fly that might be a lot worse.
Still, you'd think they'd try to wait until she was in the "safe zone".Happy for them though! Can't wait to see her cute pregnant belly and wardrobe.

Poor girl, though. I was a hot mess during my first trimester, and I didn't even have half the problems she does, and I didn't have the world watching.

EEEEEEEEEE, I'm sure this is mostly pregnancy hormones but I totally started sobbing when I read the news, even though I totally called it when I saw a photo of her last week comparing her new hairstyle to her old one and her face was so puffy!

@Arden: I bet it was leaked or they were worried about a leak. I would've thought they would wait till 5 months or so, but it makes sense if she had to be hospitalized.
