None of those words really bother me. I really hate the C U next Tuesday word. Can't say it. Can't spell it.
And I really hate when people shorten words to be cute. It's not a sammy. It's a sandwich. I don't make ressies, I make reservations. Don't drink bevvies. . . you get the idea.

hearing my FIL say "he wants the tit" really makes me cringe (PHRASING).
On the other hand, I'm 100% not mature enough to say "breasts". lol

@sapphire: Kind of along the same lines as bestie for me is "bae."
@Mrs. Pen: Everything about sputum makes me squirm. The word, the sound of it being suctioned, the thought of obtaining a culture.... HURL.

@littlebug: are you a nurse too? until I was in the field I hardly ever heard the term, now I hear or read it daily and it's jst so gross to me! Yes, all parts of it. haha. Although I'd rather deal with sputum than BM any day

@Mrs. Pen: Hospital social worker. I worked on a respiratory unit for a year, so a lot of trach/vent patients. But even before that, I volunteered at a camp for kids on ventilators, so I've been around it more than I really care to.

Mucus, puke, chunks, cunt (that's one that will cause me to never talk to you again), saliva.

That's so funny that the ones that bother me are ALL listed! My main ones are panties (just sounds like a pervert adult asking to see a child's "panties" to me) and c*nt. I HATE that word. Moist is uncomfortable. Cervical mucus is also probably my least favorite combination of two words, which is funny because tracking it lead to my current pregnancy!

I really don't have any words that make me squirm. I do hate it when people try and shorten things to make them sound cutesy. To me it just sounds stupid.

Totally agree with puberty and sputum. Maybe words with that kind of U sound are just gross.
Also I agree with @Mrs.KMM: about shortened words. They drive me crazy! Totes, cray, dipe, tute, etc. So cringe-worthy.

Oh I thought of another one. "Solids," in reference to baby food. I don't know why but "Is your baby eating solids?" makes me gag. I can't say it out loud. Maybe because it makes me think of solid waste.
