Okay just like the title says
I tested once this morning and there was a faint BFP- I tested because I was feeling nauseated and sleepy.
Tested about 20min ago and I got a BFN!
Eek what does it mean? Am I testing too early. I am not charting or anything. This pregnancy will be #2 for me and a big surprise lol

@StrawberryShortie: You could be testing a bit too early! I think it's possible to get an early + with FMU and then a - later on if you are days before your period still. Try again in 2 days. I don't think many women get false +'s so tentative early congrats!!!

If the one with fmu was faint, I'm not surprised you got a negative later. If it's early, you really need more concentrated urine for it to pick it up. I actually had a negative the day after a positive with my second pregnancy. It wasn't viable, sadly, but my numbers WERE going up, so the negative was a result of pee that wasn't concentrated enough, not because something was wrong. I would test again in the morning, or in a couple days if you have way more patience than I do! And congrats! False positives pretty much never happen, so I'm willing to bet you're pregnant!

Must just be too early. First morning urine is more concentrated, so the amount of HCG will be higher causing the positive in the morning. Was the line really faint this morning.

Agreeing with the other ladies that your urine probably wasn't as concentrated in the afternoon and you're really early. Good luck!!

Agreed, it's likely just too early for you to have an afternoon positive. This is why there's the general recommendation to test with FMU - it's the most concentrated because you've been sleeping and not drinking anything for hours. Your afternoon sample was likely just too diluted.

@BandDmommy: I did test and it was 1 negative and 1 faint BFP. I am getting a blood test done today to be sure. No use torturing myself lol

I promised DH no more POAS-ing until I get the blood test lol

@StrawberryShortie: Good luck on the blood test! Some people have slow rising HcG and totally normal healthy pregnancies from what I understand!

Hi Ladies
Thanks so much for your encouragement and kind words.
Unfortunately, it is not good news. After the first blood test showed my numbers at a very low level, I was asked to do another rush test this morning. My levels were dropped to a 5 which is bad. I am also now bleeding and cramping.
Doctor said its called a chemical pregnancy.
Although this would have been a surprise pregnancy, I am so disappointed.

@StrawberryShortie: I am so sorry for your loss j had a cp last spring and it was so hard know that your feelings are all valid and it's ok to feel sad. You really were pregnant and its okay to mourn that loss. Hugs

@StrawberryShortie: I am so sorry. I had a CP last spring and they are truly heartbreaking. My only advice is to allow yourself to grieve and feel your feelings-- whatever they might be

@strawberryshortie I am sorry you are going through this too. I am with you. I tested + on 3/17 only to see each test fade and AF came Saturday. It's a bummer feeling to say the least. I have never experienced this. DH and I are very saddened.
