@cascademom: That was priority at USPS. I spent like a half hour in there trying to come up with a solution.
I was trying to send something from amazon yesterday and it wont even let me do that. I think I am going to have to email a present- and that just isn't fun at all!! Getting mail is the best part!

@cheert16: If it's under 4 lbs you can ship USPS first class and it's cheaper. I just sent something international around 1.5 lbs and it was $25.

@cheert16: oh and what about Amazon Uk? Can you order something from there and have it shipped directly? I've never done that before so I have no clue if that's even an option, but you could try!

I sent it from my neighbors account, so she's going to be confused. Haha.
