Also having contractions about 11 minutes or so for the last couple hours.
I had my 36w check today, Dr said I was dilated and half thined out.
What are the chances of this show happening sooner rather then later?

I was 3cm 80-90% at 36 weeks. Didn't have DS until 39w3days! He probably would have stayed in longer if we let things happen naturally.

I would still guess it'll be awhile if they stop again. Some people just have a lot of contractions at the end... But you never know, could be sooner...you just don't know!

I hope things progress! I'm no help, I was induced at 41 weeks and not dilated after having contractions on/off for a month prior.

I was 2 cm and 50% effaced at 36 weeks and having contractions. My water broke at 38 weeks 5 days!

I think it is so hard to know with this. I was 3 cm dilated at 37 weeks and went into labour at 40w on the nose. Laboured all day at home and went in at night and was only 4cm! Ugh.

with my second in was 3cm dilated for weeks and was induced at 39 weeks. But with my first I wasn't dilated at all 3 days before I went into labor naturally.

It's so hard to know, I went to my 37w appt and found out that I was 1 cm, somewhat effaced (don't remember how much) and the baby had dropped , I rushed home to pack our bags and get everything ready...and then waited 5 longggg weeks to deliver at 41w 6d!

Thanks ladies, I realize at 36w it's really early to know for sure what will happen., but I have a gut feeling this is gonna happen sooner. AHHHH!!!
Not sure if I am starting to lose my mucus plug, or if it's just stuff from having a cervical check.

I was 2cm dialated and 50% effaced when I was 35 weeks along. Didn't change between then and 37 weeks. I was induced at 37 weeks so who knows if I would have progressed more or not!

I was 2cm, 80% effaced at 37 weeks. Didn't go into labor until 40w2d.

You could have the baby tomorrow or it could be another month. Or any time in between!

I was 2 to 3 CM dilated and 80% from 35 weeks to 37 weeks when I was induced for GD.

Not to be debbie downer, but I was 2cm dilated at 36 weeks and stayed that way until hours after my water broke, 2 days before my due date. Got my hopes up too!
