My 7 month old slept through the night since he was 8 weeks (8 pm-7 am). As soon as he began to crawl and stand up he hates going in the crib at night. He naps great in his crib and soothes himself for naps just fine. He has had a solid nighttime routine since he was born and nothing we did changed. If we put him in his crib after his night bottle he screams and screams. If we put him in sleeping he wakes up screaming 30min - 1 hour later. For that reason he has slept with us the past three weeks. We still try the crib but get to a point of exhaustion and tears and end up bringing him to bed. We are to the point where we are losing sleep and would like him back in his crib. I have a hard time with the CIO as I tried and after 35 minutes he was blue in the face and took another hour to put down because he was so mad. I read tons of the sleep books but find most address waking up needing to eat or not knowing how to self soothe. I thought maybe it was separation anxiety so decided to stay in his room last night however watched him cry on and off for an hour standing up reaching his arms out. I have no idea where to go from here. Also if we leave in crib he won't fall back with words or pats as he needs to be picked up and walked around. After we out him back in sleeping he wakes up every 1-2 hours doing the same thing. Does anyone have Any advice? I'm at a loss as he seemed to love his crib until about 3 weeks ago.
