Ever since coming to my parents' house, LO's bedtime nursing session has become 45 minutes, and only because i de-latch her. In the past, she only nursed between 15 to 20 minutes.
What's going on??

Mine did that when we were on vacation, too. She seriously nursed every hour, for like 30 minutes at a time. During the night was worse - she was on the boob all. night. long. My breasts were so sore. I think it may be b/c you guys are in a new environment and it's kinda stressful for them? She stopped after a few days...

@MungBean: oh my lord...every hour?? Thankfully, it is only the bedtime and morning feeds. Seriously, i am pretty sure she would suck for over an hour if i didn't force her off. And i know she isn't taking in much milk because her eyes get really big when i compress my boob. Hahaha.

I think she's probably there for comfort because she's feeling slightly scared in a new environment. I would probably delatch her earlier. Or do you think she could be going through a growth spurt?

That is long! My kids are on one boob for under 10 minutes.... Longest these days is like 20 minutes but I know they are sorta sleepy....
