@lindsayinny: no started spotting now and bad cramps so deffo out
Does anyone else get a horrible metal taste at the end of their tww? Last two months I've had it, starts about 9dpo and just doesn't go away unless I eat something sour (though I think that just hides it)?!

@Snowdrop: I get something similar, I wouldn't say metal but strange and also sometimes dry mouth. I think for me it corresponds to progesterone peaking mid 2WW, I get a lot of symptoms then
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Snowdrop: Booo... do you think you will get a second chance in November?
bananas / 9229 posts
@Snowdrop: =/ What's odd is that the only time I hear about metal taste during the TWW is as a pregnancy symptom. Is the spotting red?
honeydew / 7091 posts
@Snowdrop: Weird - I've never heard of that. I've only had metal-mouth after eating pine nuts. Most annoying thing...
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Snowdrop: I've not heard anything about a metallic taste.
What about lower left eyelid twitching? I've had it consistently for a few days. I'm pretty sure the anxiety of TTC has hit me full force now as I'm about to close out my 5th cycle TTC.
bananas / 9229 posts
@MrsMcD: I had twitching and forehead tingles when I was taking B6 that one cycle? I swore that was the reason and am afraid to take it again!
nectarine / 2132 posts
@Snowdrop: like others, i've only heard of it as a pregnancy symptom.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@LindsayInNY: @swurlygurl: Ditto, I've only heard of the metal taste as a pregnancy symptom.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@LindsayInNY: I remember that! Your comments about that were one of the reasons I didn't try B6. But I haven't tried it!!! I'm so lame though... I added "eye twitching" as a "specific" symptom on FF. I had to manually add it myself. That's a new level of some kind of lame, I'm sure.
bananas / 9229 posts
I don't want to over symptom spot or jinx myself... But, I went to CrossFit this afternoon and, for the first time ever, almost didn't complete the workout. I was so queasy feeling. Even the coach, who's an ER doctor, noticed that I was looking a bit pale. I haven't been in a week so that might have something to do with it, or the Halloween candy eating, who knows... I rarely feel like I'm going to throw up though so this is definitely not the norm for me!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@MrsMcD: lol I don't think you're lame! I'm craving a hotdog and not even in the tww yet!
bananas / 9229 posts
@MrsMcD: I love adding new symptoms... I have sneezing and sensitive nipples, LOL.
bananas / 9229 posts
@dc yoga bee: Well, the cycle with the chemical pregnancy, I was sick before POAS. So I didn't see a symptom to add for "stuffy/runny/sneezy" so I just added one... I suppose I could've made one up like that?! LOL. Yes, I'm testing in the morning! Little nervous!!
honeydew / 7091 posts
@LindsayInNY: FX for tomorrow!! I forgot how absolutely horrible the TWW wait is...

@mrs. tictactoe: that sounds so promising! fingers crossed for you.

Do y'all already have something special you want to give DH for that special day you get your BFP? No matter how long it takes, I know I want to give DH something special. I've been going to a local used bookstore near my job, and so far I've found two adorable baby books, and I'm thinking of ordering something baby related for our alma mater. They're hidden deep in the closet, so I never see them!

@littlek: i'm pretty regular so should be able to test on the 29th or 30th, so November could still be my month
@lindsayinny: it is brown at the moment, good job there is no such thing as TMI on these boards haha
It is really strange, I told my mum and she said 'oh well you are pregnant then' but since I had it last month too and deffo wasn't then it obviously doesn't mean that for me.
@mrsmcd: the eye twitching made me smile, what a strange thing this ttc business is!
blogger / coconut / 8306 posts
@dc yoga bee: I planned on it, but when I got my + a few days ago I texted my husband and said, "Congratulations, you knocked me up. Your swimmers are faster than Michael Phelps."
I'm not very good at keeping secrets so waiting until he got home from work was out of the question.
bananas / 9229 posts
@Snowdrop: FWIW, brown doesn't necessarily mean AF... My BFP month (regardless of it not sticking), I had brown spotting leading up to it and after. I had my annual exam then and my doctor even said not to rule it out. Until it's red, I'm holding onto hope for you!!

@dc yoga bee: I have a shirt for LO that says "Big Bro." I plan on putting LO in it and having him go running to husband and then I will tell hubby to look at LOs shirt.
honeydew / 7091 posts
@LindsayInNY: @Snowdrop: I also had some minor spotting the month I got pregnant with DD. I was in Vegas when I saw the spotting, so I had my Vegas fun. Turns out I was actually pregnant! Not that I want to be getting your hopes up though...

Good luck: LindsayInNY, Snowdrop, Keppa
I am outtie for the night.. I can't wait to log in tomorrow and see your BFPs... Much love girls and turkey dust!!!
honeydew / 7091 posts
@dc yoga bee: @littlek: I'm going to do a 'Big Sis' shirt! I suppose I should actually get one ready, since I won't be able to keep the secret from DH for very long!
bananas / 9229 posts
@dc yoga bee: I bought a Daddy book and two DMB lullaby CDs. Buuut I gifted those with our unsticky. I joked that I should take them back to regift I bought a "Lil Fan of ALUM on Board" for the car. I don't really intend to hang it but it was cute.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@swurlygurl: I ordered a big sister tshirt from Carter's and have it stuffed deep in a drawer until the time comes - still in the plastic. I hope to use it with the grandparents for sure, and maybe hubs if I don't blab it before then. So now I just need the BFP to go with it!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Mrs. Jump Rope: I love it!!!
@swurlygurl: @littlek: I thought about doing big sis and little bro shirts for our Yorkies because they're always in clothes, and the hubs gets "mad" when they're not dressed!
@swurlygurl: That's why I'm asking, because I don't want to have to order something and wait 7-10 days shipping if we ever get our BFP.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@LindsayInNY: while I am rooting for the other side this weekend, I love that idea!
bananas / 9229 posts
@bhbee: Haha! I took the pic down since it posted super huge! But, may the best team win

@LindsayInNY: DH is obsessed with our Alma Mater. SEC football for life. It just dawned on me today I should totally get something for our school. I'm not sure if I'd want a onesie, but they do have a diaper bag for dads with our school logo. Man, it's too early for all that lol!
bananas / 9229 posts
@dc yoga bee: I wouldn't do anything large like a diaper bag for fear that he would refuse to be seen with it. Even onesie's can be hard since there's no way of guessing a due date before a BFP. I don't want to buy a short sleeve one if a LO comes in December. Clearly I over think this
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@LindsayInNY: I totally did that! I saw the cutest onesie, and bought it for a baby shower to go with my gift. Except, I failed to think about how it was short sleeves, and her baby is due in November! Whoops.

@dc yoga bee: I have two onsies that I ordered ages ago (in January, ugh!) and have hidden in a drawer waiting for a BFP. One is soccer related since my DH plays, and the other is related to his job. I'm dying to give them to him, especially if it works out that I get a BFP this cycle, since they can double as birthday gifts for him (his b-day is next week).
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Sprite: Awee, I've got my FX for you! My mom's b-day is this month, and I'd love to be able to tell her on her bday she's going to be a grandmommy. She'd flip out, because everyone thinks we're not going to have kids!
