@LindsayInNY: Ugh, I'm sorry and I'm so rooting for you! Hoping those cold symptoms stick around! FWIW, I think a new baby is always special and I'm sure your friends/family will agree!

@NorCalWayfarer: That is adorable! That book sounds really cute
@princessandthebee: Hahaha - it seems like there's no such thing as TMI in these threads I think I'm the same way though. I've never really paid super close attention to my CM, but I do seem to recall more after a bm
@Sprite: Awesome! Great visual... now to pay attention to my different CM consistencies... haha

@LindsayInNY: Noooo - any new babies are very exciting!! Any chance yours would be the first grandchild on either side?
bananas / 9229 posts
@princessandthebee: @swurlygurl: No, you're right. I'm just being over dramatic =/ This would be the first grandchild on both sides of the family and I know they would be over the moon. Especially with the not-so-subliminal hinting we get... On a CM note, I really only notice it when there's more so than usual. I use OPKs too though so I'm not super focused on it. Wear dark underwear leading up/around O time (to watch for CM!) and light underwear at the middle/end of the TWW (to watch for implantation)!

@LindsayInNY: Every baby is exciting! And especially for your families since it will be the first! But I totally understand how frustrating it can be when others announce -- my cousin announced like a week after my chemical and I totally broke down in tears at work, not my finest moment (and why I don't check FB at work now). It'll be the first great-grandchild for the family and she got married 2 years after me. I'm still a *little* bitter about it

@LindsayInNY: good tips on panty wearing colors for TTC! Makes total sense!

@LindsayInNY: ((hugs)) ((hugs)) ((hugs)) it WILL be super exciting! Especially as the first grandchild on both sides! And OMG thanks for the tip about the underwear! That'll definitely help me figure this out!

@LindsayInNY: That's actually a really good tip about the underwear color!

@LindsayInNY: I've been feeling the same way, because 5 of my friends have recently announced their pregnancies. A part of me is also worried that it will be old news when our time comes. But it will be exciting when it happens for you, with it being the first grandchild.

@princessandthebee: @dc yoga bee: @NorCalWayfarer: It sounds gross but it definitely makes watching for CM easier!
@gingerk: I know it will be exciting for both of us, no matter what. And I keep telling myself that I don't know what these other people have been through. It could've taken one time or years! Friends of ours were literally a one time deal and he told DH something stupid about enjoying this time and blah blah blah... Umm, yes, because having obligatory sex 10 out of 15 days is fun?!

@NorCalWayfarer: That's not a squinter at all-- it's a full blown BFP! Wishing you the best and a super sticky baby!

Rolling over to here from the October boards. I'm on CD26, with AF scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I've gotten BFN's for the last couple of days. Part of me feels like I'm pregnant (cramping, light nausea, creamy CM every day for the past few days), but the other part of me figures I would have gotten a BFP if I really was, and that I'm wishing for it too hard.
Either way, I'll be testing again tomorrow morning haha!

@littlek: thank you! I don't know why I put myself through the "fun" of testing every day....but I do.

I'm still waiting for AF to make her appearance.. but I don't think it will change my POAS day... Not going to lie but it will be pretty awesome IF I get a BFP on thanksgiving..

@littlek: That would be awesome!
Does anyone prop their legs up after bd'ing? I did last night for a few minutes before going to the restroom, and DH shook his head and laughed at me!
grapefruit / 4649 posts
@dc yoga bee: I don't know what to do-- I have a retroverted uterus so I have read that instead you should do all fours so I literally alternate between propping my pelvis up, all fours and doing nothing because I feel ridiculous! Who knows if it works but at this point I am happy to give some odd things a try!

@NorCalWayfarer: congrats and sending you sticky thoughts and like others say that definitely not a squinter at all!

@dc yoga bee: I only do once I get a positive opk. And only for 5 minutes or so. So far it's (obviously) not helping me get KU, but hey, I figured it can't hurt?
@littlek: Woot! Hopefully we'll have a lot to be thankful for on Thanksgiving
nectarine / 2132 posts
@dc yoga bee: i totally did!! i definitely don't think it will hurt to try.
@NorCalWayfarer: congrats! that book looks/sounds adorable!

Posting from my phone so I apologize for typos or misspellings!
Happy to report that I got a positive OPK this morning! On both the cheapie and the Clearblue Advanced Digital! Plus...I had crazy EWCM this morning! Thinking I'll O later today or sometime tomorrow! I'm soooo thrilled cause our BD is right on target. We could not have planned it any better. So happy!!

@LindsayInNY: OMG...awesome tips about underwear color! I'm definitely doing that from now on! It's amazing how observant we get when TTC!

Apparently you ladies knew before I did But here's confirmation from a FRER from this morning. Still super nervous. I'll tell The Dude tonight and call my OB on Monday. Eek!!

@NorCalWayfarer: yay, yay, yay!!! Congrats, lady!!!

I'm going to keep it up, I like giving DH a good laugh!
Today I noticed the faintest hint of cm, and it's cd 7. I started opk per the test instructions to start today on cd 7 and got a negative with FMU. After about 9am this morning, the cm is now making an appearance! (Thanks again for the tip @LindsayInNY !)

@whatsarahsaid: this is excellent news! What cd are you on?
@NorCalWayfarer: congrats!!!! So happy for you!

@littlek: Thanksgiving is the perfect BFP date! Btw I saw your pup's costume pictures they are SO cute, my little guy would never let me do that - so awesome!
@dc yoga bee: On our first cycle (we got a BFP but miscarried 8 weeks later) I did it EVERY time and DH would crack up, lol. This time around no legs up and DH always looks at me with disappointment and asks "what happened to legs in the air?" SO silly!
kiwi / 630 posts
@NorCalWayfarer: Amazing!!!!! So very happy for you and lots of sticky thoughts
cherry / 235 posts
@dc yoga bee: CD17...which is more in line with my past O dates. I normally O between CD15-CD19. Last month it MAY have been CD21 but I'm really not sure I even O'ed last month due to wacky temp jumps and not quite positive OPKs.
So happy to be getting more definitive signs this month!
