Alright guys, let's hold the excitement for now.
I'm getting really confusing results on my tests.
I had the Ovidrel shot on 10.23 around 11am. I considered that day of O because I was in a ton of pain since the previous Friday, but most of the pain was gone by the end of Wednesday night & completely gone Thursday morning. I've been pain free since.
I decided to test out my trigger, so I took three Wondfo tests between Monday and Tuesday. Two were FMU and one was in the afternoon. They were all stark negative. I posted about this, and several bee's chimed in that it was definitely negative.
I wasn't convinced, though, since my RE's office said the Ovidrel can stay in your system as long as 10 days. I tested again yesterday with FMU and got a positive. Three more Wondfo's, all positive. Got a FRER 6 Days Sooner, and got a positive. Started celebrating and couldn't believe it!
Tested this morning with my second FRER and got a positive. Negative with Wondfo. Just tested AGAIN and got a positive Wondfo. Dafuq?
My RE's office can't give me answers. The nurse I talked to told me she doesn't recommend testing out the trigger (even though I was told it was an option when I got a shot!) and can't give me an explanation for the negatives, positives, then conflicting results. They don't want me in for a beta until next week, and she told me to take a FRER on Wednesday/Thursday. I'm expecting my period on Tuesday.
OH MY GOD I'm going nuts over here. How do you know if it's a bad batch of Wondfos? Google is giving me mixed results. I'm getting hits of people asking if it's a bad batch, but no one is confirming it.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Oof, that's a toughie. I'd wait a couple days and test again with the FRER (and not the wondfos) just to ensure that it isn't any remnants of the Ovidrel in your system. I know that is totally easier said than done, though.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: whoa, holy confusing, Batman.
I saw your other post on testing out your trigger, and those tests were clearly negative. I also saw your Wondfos yesterday, and they were clearly positive. So here's my question: are you worried that they gave you false negatives earlier, false positives yesterday, or both?
I mean, the tests yesterday with the FRER (and this morning, for that matter) were clearly positive. Are you wondering if the Ovidril might be causing that? Another answer for the one Wondfo this morning might be that it was a bad Wondfo-less dye, etc. Don't individual strips vary?
I hate that this is confusing!!! I'm still thinking that you got BFPs until proven otherwise

@LovelyPlum: I'm worried that the three Wondfo's I took Monday/Tuesday were bad, and the Ovidrel is still in my system. That would explain the + FRERs.
Or, the Wondfo I took today was bad and the FRER & other Wondfo were good, and I'm secretly pregnant with triplets... because really, who gets a real + at 7DPO?
Either way, dafuq.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I suggest using a FRER on Sunday. That way you know the trigger is out.

I'm rolling down/over from the October POAS thread. My cycle has been really confusing but I'll try to fill in the questions as succinctly as possible! (I'll repost if I roll down again this month, which seems pretty likely at this point.)
I'm also relatively new to HB...so to answer some of the previous questions on this thread, I'm originally from PA, but now live in NC and I have an adorable pit/boxer mix named Ellie!
Estimated O Date: FF says CD13 (10/13) but @sprite and @LindsayInNY both think CD21 (10/21) and I'm starting to agree!
POAS/AF date: if we go with the second O date, then today would be 10 dpo. I'm going to keep POASing until I get AF (which was supposed to be here 10/29 according to FF) - temps are still up but I've had all BFNs since last Friday.
Cycle: #2
Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ebd2425
Trying new this cycle: I used Mucinex and EPO but who knows if it worked considering that I'm on CD31 with a clearly wrong confirmed O date, all BFNs, and no AF!
What are you looking forward to this month (not TTC related): Thanksgiving - it's my favorite holiday and I get to host!
@Mrs. Jump Rope: Keeping my fingers crossed that your + FRERs were legit and not related to the trigger.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: So frustrating! I really hope that this is a true BFP for you. In general, I'd trust FRERs over wondfos though.
@erind425: Yay, another Raleigh bee! Welcome to the November thread and hope you get your BFP soon!

I don't want to get my hopes up or anything but I started symptom spotting a bit. Only at 12DPO... Better late than never?! Last cycle (the chemical), I woke up semi-sick on Saturday (12DPO) - sore throat, stuffy/sneezing, etc. and got progressively worse throughout the day. Sunday (13DPO) I got my short-lived BFP. By Monday I was feeling better. Well, today at 12DPO, I have a sore throat again. Nothing has changed or gotten worse though so I don't know if it even means anything... I guess I'll know Saturday?

@LindsayInNY: Rooting for you! I hope the sore throat means something good, FX!

@littlek: I was literally just comparing my charts on FF, LOL. Problem is, I don't know how much the progesterone is affecting it? =/ Gah. Just have to wait I guess...

@jmarionsmith: I was sick before the last BFP! I didn't realize it could be a symptom but now I'm going to drive myself nuts, LOL. Thankfully it's almost the weekend!

Okay, I have a lot of questions about some of your TTC discussions... let's start with one though.
EWCM? I know what it stands for, but... what?! How do you know, why do you care and what does it tell you?
I had DD before I joined HB, so I never got into any of this TTC stuff. I just did the basics...
honeydew / 7091 posts
@littlek: It seems like there are a lot of people POAS this month!! Is this usual, or are there a lot more than usual?
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@swurlygurl: It's supposed to be the most fertile CM. Right before you ovulate you produce a bunch of EWCM. So, it's a sign you are super fertile and about to ovulate.
As for you girls that check your cervix... I have no idea how to do that.. and I'm not going to lie, it scares me a little...
bananas / 9229 posts
@swurlygurl: EWCM = Egg White Cervical Mucus! Yumm... It's present during your most fertile time. Usually leading up to/right around O. Some people chart/track just by CM. (This month has a lot more POASers than usual!!)
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@swurlygurl: This is my 2nd month.. so I'm not sure.. but my guess is November is a popular month.. It's cold and people are in a good mood because of the upcoming holidays.. so they are ready to get it on....
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@swurlygurl: the EWCM? I don't but I produce a butt load of it.. so I can see it on my underwear.. i know tmi
honeydew / 7091 posts
@littlek: Okay... not sure if it was the same as some of the discharge going on sometimes... That I can handle. The checking your cervix... not so much
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@swurlygurl: Yay, I'm not comfortable with it... It took me months not to be afraid of a tampon when I first got AF or after the birth of LO.

@LindsayInNY: Fingers crossed for you! Your chart looks awesome!
@Mrs. Jump Rope: I really hope it is a true bfp, I am sure the uncertainty is driving you crazy!
I just took another digital and cheapie and it looks like I did actually ovulate yesterday. The digital was negative and my lines are getting fainter on the cheapie. Plus FF's tidbit for right now was about ewcm post ovulation and how it is perfectly normal... Hopefully O-3 and Oday are sufficient! We will probably try to squeeze in one more go this afternoon just in case.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@Mrs. Jump Rope: so sorry for the uncertainty, it's awful to be in limbo! I agree with others to focus on the FRER - I think if you wait 48 hours your FRER should be definitely darker than the last one, if it's a true BFP. I'd generally think you can't trust the wondfos . . . they are more an indicator than a final answer at low levels of HCG.
kiwi / 630 posts
@Mrs. Jump Rope: ugh this situation is the worst - i hate limbo! BUT all your symptoms point to a BFP so fingers crossed very hard for you!!!
@LindsayInNY: I also had a sore throat that went nowhere the day before my BFP so i think this sounds super promising!! hope this is the month for you!!!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@swurlygurl: you want it because it helps the swimmers live in the hostile environment of the vagina. I don't stick my fingers up there. Sometimes I see it when I glance at the tissue after wiping tmi sorry! I take a lot of allergy pills, so I've been downing green tea as it is supposed to help produce it naturally.
