@dagret: thanks for sharing this! I saw it yesterday and it really broke my heart for her, especially the part where that woman was obviously getting excited. I'm planning on sharing our infertility situation with my parents soon and I'm so worried that how I frame it will make them think I'm telling them I'm pregnant. I don't want to see that disappointment in their faces.

@Shutterbug: I was worried about that too, though I only told my mom (who passed it on to my Dad). I just started with something like "I have some sad news to share with you". No time to get excited about something else. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

I saw this the other day and felt so sad for her. And I wanted to jump through the screen when adoption was brought up, like come on!! Don't say that right now.

I've been honest with my mom about out struggles with infertility, but I find our conversations awkward because she has no true understanding of what I'm going through. But her unwavering support is good enough.

I don't think I'll ever hear a story of infertility struggles that doesn't bring tears to my eyes. So brave of Aisha to share this very personal story. I know that Sharon means well by saying how sad it was that Aisha kept this private and struggled through it, but it's really very hard to live through the roller coaster of IF and invite others along for the ride.

@sweetooth: @Happygal: I took that comment a little differently. I think what she was trying to say was that she was sad to hear that Aisha was hurting so much inside, but she had to put on a happy face every day for work and not share her struggle. Just like all of us
