The thing I noticed that no one else seemed to mention before was they said there were going to be MORE sales than Black Friday. Not BETTER sales. It's just a day to hype everyone up to buy shit that may actually be a better price some other day.

Meh lame. I was hoping for cool toys for my niece and nephews birthday in a few weeks. I bought baby wipes, though!

I'm glad I'm not alone on the whole "these deals suck" thing. And the few decent ones sell out quickly because there is nothing else even remotely interesting. I am over the socks and granny panties sale.

I got some shoes for 30% off and it didn't take it off until I was on the "pay" page - in the order summary it showed the discount but the item was still showing regular price - does that make sense?

I think that if I had purchased a Prime membership to participate in this, I would be pretty pissed. (Although, I love my Prime membership in general).

Meh. The only thing I was excited about was the free sample set using code LUXSAMPLE when you buy $50 of "luxury beauty products". I had to buy something anyway that is an amazon luxury beauty product but keep getting "promo code not valid" reject message. I mean, I need to order it anyway, but if you promise something (aka, my free samples with purchase!), deliver on it!
ETA: I did live chat with Amazon and it took about 15 minutes, but they were able to hook me up. So I'll retract my bitching above

I need a bottle warmer to scald my milk at work, so was happy to snag one at $11, and latch are the only bottles Lo will takes I picked up those.

I got my DD a pair of Natives but so far nothing else. I do think there are lots of items that seem marked down more than usual, but I can't really tell since I haven't been following the pricing closely on those things.

We needed a new piece of luggage and we snagged a set on a lightening deal that was about the same price and quality of the individual piece we had our eye on. But totally random, nonetheless. I forgot to grab the wipes though, I guess I'll do another order today.

I got mine for 20.99 before tax. It's not the very best deal, but pretty good. -
I heard on the radio this morning that Wal-Mart might be coming out with their own "Black Friday" sale to combat Amazon's. I haven't seen anything yet though.

I got my one pack of baby wipes
I was really hoping for a few boxes since LO #2 is on the way. I also tried to get the lightening deal for the fire stick and it wouldn't ever work right. It said I qualified, then wouldn't put the right price in the cart. This is craziness. I wish it was better managed.

I just got the wipes and a melissa and doug pots and pans set that was already on my wishlist for LO. Tried to grab a little skip hop backpack and it was already sold out after 2 minutes! I'm sort of glad there aren't too many more tempting deals.

I also just got some diaper genie refills. I tried to get a toy for LO's birthday but was wait-listed after trying to add it to my cart 30 seconds after the deal started. Crazy!
