I"m looking at these two alternatives as I am horrible at taking pills. I was forcing myself in the beginning stages of TTC to take folic acid and I had a hard time with it.
Thoughts? Recommendations?

I vomit with most prenatals, the Vitafusion gummies work best for me. My ob's wife took them too, and he said they were fine.

I take the Vitafusion gummies, both the prenatals and the fiber/calcium supplements, and I like them. They don't upset my stomach as much as some, but I will say that I still try to take them with food, or just after. But they're better than taking pills!

I love the vita fusion. They were the only ones with DHA that didn't make me burp up a fishy taste. They do t have iron though.

I have the vitafusion, I developed an aversion to them my first pregnancy, and they still make me feel sick. I take 2 flintstones chewables instead. They have the same amount of folic acid as the vitafusions!

I took the vita fusion gummies. Taking pills made me gag in the first trimester.

I read on an Amazon review (clearly it's not an authoritative source!!!) that retinyl palmitate in the Vitafusions wasn't good for pregnancy. Anyone know for sure?
I didn't have time to research it so I just started taking a different vitamin.

@sunny: I do t know much about that but I know a lot of the others "women's daily" rt had red dye in them which isn't great either!

I love the vita fusion gummies. I have the hardest time swallowing pills too. Showed it to my doc and she said those were fine. I do take a DHA supplement in addition to the gummies. It's a smaller size pill, Target brand!

I took them for awhile, but switched to Rainbow Light prenatals prior to getting pregnant. I still take them even though we're not trying yet.

I take the Vitafusion gummies and love them. My doc recommended a gummy for me since I needed an iron free prenatal vitamin.

I've taken Bellybar through both pregnancies now and they work great. I like that they have a lot of iron (27 mg!) and the taste isn't too bad. I take a separate gummy fish oil supplement and a separate calcium/vitamin D as well. The Vit D is sufficient in the Bellybar (I'm Vit D deficient though so need additional regardless) but I think it only has around 15% of your calcium recommended allowance, and of course no DHA, hence the fish oils. I'd recommend them though.

@Ree723: do you think it is excessive for me to take bellybar and vita? Fish oil scares me lol
