I have some of the quick kind of oatmeal---like you cook in the microwave. Does this help with supply? If not, which kind should I get?

For me, any kind worked. Some people swear by steel cut, etc., but regular should work fine. Since doing WW, I'm loving the Quaker summer berry cups in the morning at work.

@Jennimac: I've heard that the regular old fashioned kind or steel cut is better.
I still make the old fashioned quick whole oats in the microwave. 1 cup of oats with about 3/4 cup of water or milk for about 2 minutes.

Yeah, I've read that it shouldn't be the instant/quick oats type. Old fashioned rolled oats or steel cut

I recently made oatmeal cookies as an excuse to up supply. Not sure if it worked but they tasted great!

I got some old-fashioned oats and I've eaten them the past two mornings for breakfast. So yummy and I think they are helping, which is great because LO has a monstrous appetite!!
