I just had a lady who is going through the process to become an IBCLC observe me and LO nursing. I got to talk to her a bit, and now my interests in becoming one myself have been re-awakened. I was just wondering if we had any here that had some comments thoughts on the whole process.

ETA: I really have considered it but we don't even have any LLL meetings here & I would have to travel 2+ hours away for any courses & hours. The closest IBCLC to me is over 120 miles! =(

I would love to someday. I've discussed it with my La Leche League leader but since i just found out I'm pregnant again it will wait til later.

@T.H.O.U.: I don't either, but I wouldn't mind taking the college courses to make it happen.
