Hi, don't know if this is helpful but someone just mentioned quinoa on Brownie's thread on bf, is it something you do or would eat? I've heard it's a fairly complete food.

I'm neither vegan nor breastfeeding but I have a cousin who is and she has a lot of lentils, soy milk, and tofu for protein. She also uses a rotation of fake meats in her cooking. Both baby and mom are healthy!

I actually eat A LOT of quinoa daily!! From what I understand it is one, if not the, only complete non-meat protein.
Thanks for the suggestions. I actually cannot eat any form of soy due to my son's food allergies. I'm a little chicken (fear he would have a reaction to them) to try lentils at this points, but one day I'd like to try them.
