I've been reading the humidfier posts on hb today and been wondering if I should be getting one for LO!

We live in a basement suite and LO's room is the only room that is completely underground -- we also live in rainy Vancouver and so this makes his room a bit 'clammy/cold/damp' -- their's a chinese word for it "chew sup" that my mom always uses when she visits -- since he was born my mom has been BEGGING me to get a de-humidifier to get rid of all the extra 'water' in the air. We haven't yet, but I'm confused if I should be getting:

1. a humidifier instead
2. a de-humidifier only
3. BOTH a humidfier AND dehumidifier.

LOL..... anyway, been thinking about it for the last few months and thought maybe one of you had some advice!
