Maybe I'm a scrooge but we spend less than $100 on each other for Christmas, I can't see gifting my lo's daycare providers with gifts or gift cards when we don't even spend much on our own family for Christmas.
We will probably give them nice Christmas cards with maybe lo's hand stamped in them, though.
Does anyone else not plan on gifting their daycare teachers?

I only want to give a gift to some of her teachers! I dont know how to give them a gift because there are quite a few teachers in her class. usually atleast 3 or 4 people at one time and they rotate shifts so in total about 8 people have been responsible for taking care of here. There are 3 main teachers that ar there from 6 am to 3pm and then they have the others you come in the afternoon. I cant figure out how to give them all a gift. I kinda want to only give gifts to the ladies I like who are really nice to my baby, but I guess that wouldnt be right?

@Mrsbells: I feel the same way! There are a handful of teachers at the daycare but only a few that are assigned to the infant room. Some of the teachers will help out with the infants as needed. Do I gift to all the teachers or the ones assigned to the infant room?

a girlfriend of mine doesn't do gifts but she orders pizza for the staff one day. it's not very expensive and they think it's very sweet.
I think just being appreciative means a lot. Not everyone can afford to throw a nice gift card in every. single. teacher's stocking

@keiki_mama: I really have no idea. I dont know if some will get offended if they realizer that I left them off my gift list.
@blackbird: Yeah I considered buying donuts, bagels and cakes for them but I dont know if they will think I'm cheap

Well, they really should just be grateful you do anything for them 
I certainly don't expect presents for just doing my job! But a nice thank you goes a long way! And I'm sure lots of moms don't give them anything! I think bringing in bagels and shmear and such would be a wonderful treat. Especially since a few dozen would last more than a day.

@Mrsbells: Maybe you could do homemade baked goods? It's a personal touch and costs you time. Or better yet, layered cookie mix in a jar that they can make later? DH's mom is a teacher and comes home with a ridiculous amount of loot every Christmas. She gave us some of the mixes last year, and I thought it was a good idea because you can save for later.

I remember my mom would prepare little gifts (sometimes homemade) for our teachers in elementary school. It was never anything big - sometimes a tray of cookies, or some fancy chocolates, or coffee/tea with a nice mug - but it seemed like the teachers were always very appreciative! I think I'll do the same when L goes to preschool.

Snacks or lunch for the teachers or cards with scratch off tickets or even like a $5 gift card to dunk n donuts or starbucks are always a win at the center I work at
