I was glad that she wore the dress with the high waist, she does look like she still has a uterus that hasn't shrunk back...so props to her for being real about that.

Dammit! I didn't know they were coming back out. I missed the car seat situation.
@lawbee11: it made me secretly happy that her tummy wasn't flat. Proof that she is in fact human like the rest of us. For I while there I was convinced she was a magical creature of awesomeness.

@highwire: I don't even believe in Heaven, but in that moment I was thinking of Princess Diana being so proud of her son and his lovely bride.

Omg, I love them! He drove! They're so cool, I love how real they seem, other than her looking fantastic, but even showing that she still has a PP tummy, just like a real person. Ahhhh. I adore their little family, so happy for them!

I'm at work so I didn't get to turn the volume up. I'm going to have to find it on YouTube and watch again!

@MamaMoose: It was so fast. They came back out. Kate got into the backseat, Will came around the other side, put the car seat into the base. Got into the driver's seat. And then they drove away.

@MsLipGloss: in her purses that cost more than my house. Obvi. I swear we could be BFFs if she'd just give me a shot!

Umm did anyone else notice how she hopped/skipped down those last few steps on the way into the car!? My legs could barely move 24 hours pp lol.

OMG how awesome would it be if DH and I got coordinating pink outfits and went and stood on the steps of our hospital after I give birth and waved at the parking lot?! They'd probably call the psych ward, right?

i'm sure someone has shared this already... but i found it hilarious...

@anbanan15: Don't hate me, but I literally hopped out of bed the morning (12 hours) after Tractor Girl's birth. And then came the gush, lol. But I really did feel that amazing. Not quite as good after Deere Boy's birth, but almost. Hopefully Kate had an easy first birth and feels as amazing as she looks! I did notice on the videos of Diana and Charles leaving the hospital that she did NOT look like she was feeling too hot.

I thought it was cute that Prince William said he'd already changed his first "nappy." Adorbs.

@FarmWifeGina: She is your second right? My friend said she felt so much better and ready to go after her second too. I'm hoping for the same.
Kate looks just as fantastic as always and completely glowing in new mommy bliss!

@Honeygold89: I looked 6m pregnant when I left. Your uterus still needs time to shrink, organs move back to their original place, belly skin shrinks back etc

I just saw pics. She looks great. Glad that she's showing how a postpartum tummy really looks. Kind of jealous that she got to go home a day later. I had two days in the hospital and hated the second day. I heard that she had a 14 hour labor, same length as mine!

@sslm: My belly looked remarkably normal 2 days pp . . . but my bootay and thighs sure looked pg!

@anbanan15: seriously. I had a super fast, easy birth and I was out of bed but never could have strolled around in heels!!! Maybe she had some serious pain meds? Lol

@anbanan15: Yes, second. I felt like I had a pretty easy recovery with my first birth, and really truly, I did, but I think I had a bigger high or something the second time. I remember waking up and having to remember the fact that I'd had a baby because I was in the hospital, not because I was sore. It was kind of amazing.
