We just started introducing new allergy risk foods to my 12 month old and so far he's had a mild reaction to scrambled eggs and a bigger one to peanut butter.
With the eggs he just got a little blotchy around his mouth which faded on its own quickly but the peanut butter gave him defined hives on his face, mostly just around his mouth then I gave Benadryl which stopped any further reaction.
Both times he was completely fine otherwise, just seems to have a skin reaction around his mouth.
We'll be having the doctor do the blood allergy tests at his 15 month well visit per her suggestion but I was curious, did anyone's LO have reactions at first but ended up not having the food allergy forever?
