What is your current favorite app(s) for tracking cycles and charting? I’ve been using Clue to track for about a year but looking to try something more comprehensive since we’ve been trying for a while now with no results.

@fmmtk: are you looking for just a different app or thinking about charting? If charting I have the ava bracelet and it's pretty awesome. Takes the work out of charting

I've been using Clue for tracking and want something more! I haven't heard of the ava bracelet, will look into it!

@fmmtk: i have a 2 year old and tried regular bbt temping but it was insanely hard to lay there for a minute plus while she yelled to get out of her room
Ava I just wear at night and sync with my phone in the morning. She tracks skin temp, resting pulse rate and breathing rate.
But like everything ttc it's just one more thing to obsess over. I found it comforting to see my temp follow a normal pattern though!

@mamabear87 - love the idea of how easy this sounds! Obsessing is so easy to do 
as our first (which happened quickly) approaches four, I find myself obsessing more with every month.

@Mrs Lavender: I am also a huge fan of Kindara. They are great and have replied to me when I had questions/issues.

@mamabear87 - same! we were very intentional with our desired spacing for many reasons, which makes the waiting game hard, my type a cannot handle!

I've tried Ovia, Fertility Friend, Kindara, and Glow. All have their pluses and minuses. I found that for those who want to be really detailed and don't mind the design, Fertlity Friend is a good fit. I like their ability to compare charts. I like Kindara and Glow otherwise (they're prettier to interact with too). I've found all of them give me slightly different predictions too.

My last pregnancy I did Ovia and Fertility Friend and found that Fertility friend helped me out a lot. This time around I'm doing Fertility Friend and Glow, I've already noticed Glow picking up on my irregular cycles better.
I want to start temping again, but does anyone know how unreliable it will be if i wake several times during the night? I don't get up, but just wake often.

@MrsMom: I think it says in Taking Charge of Your Fertility that you just need a 3-hour block of sleep for it to be accurate, if I remember correctly. I wake sometimes, too, if the cat jumps on me or something, and I always freak out about my temp when it happens.

@MrsMom: I am a pretty light sleeper, and was not consistent with temping time, and I still was able to discern a temperature shift that confirmed ovulation.

I’ve been happy with fertility friend for 6+ years when TTC and TTA. Not the prettiest I guess but worked well!
