@Sams Mom: One of my coworkers was born in '97 and another in '99, we mainly joke about how I was doing xyz when they weren't even thought of yet or how my right hip says there might be some rain soon. In truth, I don't feel much older than them when we're together. I feel like I'm at an age where my companions can range from ten years younger to ten-fifteen years older than me and I almost don't notice the age difference.
Another of my coworkers was born in '55 or so, luckily I still feel young compared to her. -
@Sams Mom: whenever I do a patient with a birthday like that I think they're a kid. No, I'm just old.

Haven’t posted in a few years! I have a 3 y/o and almost 6 y/o and just got IUD out. No idea how my cycle will go but I did have a period so we’ll see what happens!

@yellowbeach: thanks, I haven’t used regular lube and pulled out as part of a regular routine in a long time, so I was kind of surprised when I spotted so much ewcm after dtd. I think it must have been leftover lube lol

It's not as big of a deal when TTC vs TTA, but can definitely cause confusion. Like if you use any kind of FAM for birth control you're supposed to mark it as potentially fertile CM to avoid an oops baby.

@Sams Mom: yeah, I’m not too concerned, and I have had some ewcm the past few days, but negative opks, he pulled out, and I’m 99% sure I can’t get pregnant without meds. But let’s see how much I freak out if I’m late for my period again lol

AFM: temp dropped first couple days of period then shot back up. I know period temps are just weird, but my OPK on CD5 is darker than it should be.
I swear the 9 months of Clomid & Femara effed up my cycles.
I talked to my husband this weekend about it, and depending on finances we'll see an RE this summer, and if I'm not pregnant by the end of the year we will just be a family of 3 🤷♀️

I have some news! I have an appointment to a fertility specialist. I'm going on Thursday. I guess it'll be a Q&A round and she'll order some tests first, but at least I got the ball rolling.
OV should be around right about now too, today or tomorrow. -

@yellowbeach: I'll go alone to all visits he's not required to be at. He'd like to participate as little as possible. I don't blame him, I'd like to participate as little as possible too, I'm still a bit (read: a lot) bitter about the fact we can't do something ourselves that should be the most natural thing in the world...
He also has a crazy work schedule and he can't so he doesn't have to say all that, but I know how he feels, because I feel the same. -
DH came back from his trip last night and my OPK turned positive this AM, looks like we have a shot this month!
CD 11
Cycle: a little over a year since the IUD was removed. Probably about 8 or 9 months of actually trying.

@Sams Mom: I don't know what your age is, but I feel you on the "working with babies" thing LOL I found out a coworker of mine is almost exactly 10 years younger than me (our birthdays are like 2 days apart) and I felt really old then lol oh well.

• Cycle Day: 12
• TTC Cycle: I have not kept track of this but we started October of 2015
• Ovulation Date: I trigger for IUI tonight!
• POAS Date: April 17?
• Baby #: 1My husband and I have been trying for over 3 years. After a year of attempting an IUI, we finally got to do one last month but sadly it didn't happen. We only had one strong follicle that cycle. I had my ultrasound this morning and we had 4! One 15.5, 2 17s, and one 19! I'm triggering tonight and will do IUI on Wednesday. It's been a journey so far. Our issue is that my husband has developed low testosterone and his counts were never high enough for two attempts. Three other times they could not get my ovulation timed right so we had a total of 5 attempts and never even got to do a full IUI. My husband has been on Clomid for over a year and it was finally enough to boost his numbers where they need to be so we finally got to do one last month! While unsuccessful, we are just so happy to see his number better. Unfortunately, it hasn't helped in the area of TTC because he can't keep an erection for us to be able to have intercourse. Medical intervention is our only hope for now. Crossing fingers that we get a baby out one of these four follicles!
