I am not but I might be a SAHM if we have a 3rd. I think we will still send our oldest to preschool (undecided about PT or FT) and I will keep the younger ones at home until they are preschool age.
Are you a SAHP with a LO in daycare? How old is your LO? Do they go FT or PT?

I am not but lots of moms in my DS's Pre-K class are SAHM's. They all go half day and have younger siblings at home!

I'm not but if I were I'd definitely send an older LO to preschool at least part-time.

Yup. She is 4 and goes to Montessori while I am with baby sis. I think it's great. She learns so much and has made so many friends. Me too. Now I know all the Montessori moms in our neighborhood and we meet up almost every day. Most of the other moms SAH, too.

I would for sure send my son to preschool if I were a stay at home mom. The one where my son is going to next year is only 3 hours per day anyway.
Formal daycare, though, 5 days a week, no.

LO is starting in the fall and I'm a SAHM. She'll go just two mornings a week this year and three mornings the next two years.

I'm a temporary sahm and LO still goes 2 days a week. I don't want her getting too used to being home all the time with me. And keep her daycare spot.

I work from home part time, and we may be one and done. We still plan on enrolling DS in preschool and depending on some other factors regular school after that! I am sure I will find something to do during that time. Maybe finish my degree!

Not right now, but we are considering sending her to a morning preschool program (twice a week, three hours each session) when she turns 3.5.

My daughter is 14 months and I'm a SAHM transitioning to a WAHM part time. She just started going to a sitter twice a week for a few hours so I can get some work done1

I'm s SAHM and my LO started a drop off 2s class this school year. It's only 2x a week for an hour and a half but I thought it was a good transition for her to be away from me and learn to follow directions from another adult. It's been great for her.
Next school year we're likely putting her in a Montessori school starting 3x a week part time (9-12). Then when baby #2 arrives and if she is really loving it we will transition to 5x a week part time. I don't feel guilty...I feel fortunate to give her these learning opportunities
