I always used to strap my LO in her high chair for every meal and snack. She ate well but stopped wanting to be restrained at around 20 months or so. So now we mix it up and let her eat breakfast and snacks not sitting in her high chair. But for bigger meals like lunch and dinner I have her sit in the high chair. She is happy to do so if I put on some Sesame Street Youtube videos for her and will eat just about anything I put in front of her.

So far, LO is proving to be a good eater. She breastfeeds like a champ and is loving her purees so I hope she keeps it up!

We had a hard time starting DS on solids with his allergies. The first few foods I researched to be the least likely to cause a reaction with his condition turned out to be a problem for him, so we started letting him decide which his next foods would be (based on him trying to eat them from me and getting excited when he saw them). So far this has worked much better for us!
