I am, for the most part. I'm glad that the first 2 years are over, though. I was so up tight about what she ingested - especially before she could tell me what she had.

haha not at all! She is an in-home daycare and because I know he is receiving great care and he LOVES it more than any other childcare situation we've had thus far, I let it slide. It's only four meals a week, and he eats 17 meals with us!

@mediagirl: their breakfast menu is all junk!! but lunch isn't so bad. I try to send her with a packed lunch but some weeks it's just easier for her to buy lunch.

No--they eat way too many carbs and processed foods. We are vegetarian and the center is not, so we send lunch. We also send a non-carb snack, but I know they also give her some of whatever everyone else is having (goldfish, pretzels, etc.). It drives me crazy, but I can't decide if it's an issue I want to take on--doesn't seem like many of the other parents care.

For us its just snack, so I try not to care...but yes, I'd love it to be fruit and cheese rather than goldfish and animal crackers - I have a feeling LO is eating more than her share because those are treats! She makes a big point of telling me that at school they don't put extra water in the apple juice, hahaha.

What is most important to me is that the food is homemade and not a bunch of frozen/processed foods. I personally think they eat too much meat at school, but overall, it's ok.
